After further investigation, team sources confirm that Johnson scored a hat-trick that night. He opened the scoring on a traditional slap shot to the 5-hole. Later in the 2nd he deked the unsuspecting defender and went top shelf with a twisted wrister. Lastly, he finished it off in overtime going backdoor on a wrap around. Unofficially, it was Johnson's 2nd hat-trick of the season.

Like "yeah we tried, but sorry, we will send you down now". Luckily Draisaitl is a clever and hard working guy and didn't take it too bad, plus has a dad who knows how it works. Otherwise that could burn a player.
And honestly and no shit (not saying this because he is from Germany): Draisaitl is a goddamn great talent. And if you give him the chance (in a team that isn't a total pile oft shit), he will surprise a lot of guys. I followed bis career since he was little and I tell you, this guy can be a player that makes the difference.

What Draisaitl is doing this season is great. Very happy for him, guy will only geht better in the future.

Massive pain in both shoulders right now, answering with my schlong here.

But seriously, of course I'm happy to see a German guy succeding in the NHL. Leon was extraordinarily talented when he was 15/16, everyone with half a brain could see that back then. But talent isn't all, so I'm glad that he is a hard worker as well. Very down to earth, too. His father is a massive help as well. If he stays healthy, there is basically no limit for a guy like him.
