Great game, Sale sharp too.
Kluber more economical so far.

McCullers too.
That kid had a brilliant minor league career.
His debut was good.
(his old man could deal back in the day as well)

You like good close baseball games?
Of the six MLB games in progress tonight, only one game is not tied: the Brewers-Tigers contest (Milwaukee leads Detroit 3-2 in the 8th inning). Four of the five games that are tied are knotted at 1, with two of those games in extras

I got whiplash from watching all this action.
Just a great night for baseball.
I tried handicapping every game, every game was too close to call is what I came up with.
Sure as shit, every game is one run or tied.
Amazing.

Doesn't matter if you are little bettor guy, they are the ones who always seem to make out well.
Mariners?
They are doomed.
I think Houston backslides, and Angels win the division going away.
Cruz is a beast, King is a beast, but that's where it pretty much ends.
Cano is overrated, Seagar is a nice third baseman, but if you take away Cruz, your second best hitter is at .264 and that would be Brad Miller. They hit .238 as a team.
Take away King, and your next best starter is JA Happ.
Their closer is not very trust worthy (Rodney)
And Carson Smith is their best reliever.
And people touting them for 100 wins this season, and I just laughed.
When Iwakuma went down, so did the M season.
And they weren't winning anything with him anyway.

What a night for great games -- and great cashing too for me, I hit nearly everything, including two 3-tm parlays and one two-teamer! If the Tribe had pulled one out it would have been an all-time night, but you never get everything.
Anyway, great action all around. My only personal killer is that I DEALT Corey Kluber in my fantasy league for a couple of "just a guys" two starts ago when he was getting bombed and I was thinking maybe he was just a one-year wonder. Umm, yeah, might have cost myself a championship there.

So.....
I was looking at the over nights, and two things jumped right out.
The Twin Pirate game for starters.
If you are not into analytics, you might not know Twins hit LHP very well.
Get the full batting stats for the 2025 Regular Season Minnesota Twins on ESPN. Includes team leaders in batting average, RBIs and home runs.
Last season too.
Pirates start a LHP tonight in Liriano.
Twins start a hamburger tonight in Nolasco.
And he's just getting lit up all season.
Righty bats are hitting .385 off of him and get on base at a 44 percent clip (OBA .444)
That's just wrong on so many levels.
Harrison, Walker (Switch) McCutchen (who is starting to heat up) and Marte (who is has been tearing it up) are right handed sticks that should have their way with Nolasco tonight. And Corey Hart should DH tonight, he's a righty killer.
You can get this, +112 on the over 7.5 at 5D reduced juice.
I really think this game goes over, but the catch is Liriano is just as tough getting left handed hitters out as the Twins are hitting lefties.
But I can easily see Pitt scoring 5 or 6.
I get the feeling I am stepping into a trap, but I refuse to get mind fukked over a line.
The other game that jumped out at me is the Red Sox and Rangers, where Miley is a +135 favorite, who shouldn't be a favorite over any team, Fenway or no Fenway.Beltre is a lefty killer, and Miley is a gas can, Andrus hits lefties well.....
Rangers are a nice doggy spot play at first glance.
Gallardo matches up well here with Miley.

I know this, it doesn't matter, they are buried.
They have no offense besides Cruz, you think Cano with his 1 home run and 11 RBi and .253 average is fearsome?

Nash, I don't want to say something bad, but something is wrong.
PIT plays at home, so no DH for them.

Nasher - I got 2 Unders and lost the Over (no surprise as I lose nearly every Over) last night.
Tonight I am going with these...
Tigers (-1) -140
Oakland (FF) -130
Oak-Hou (U 8) +100
StL-NY Mets (U 3.5 - FF) -110
SF ML +110
Thoughts on any of these?
May add No Score 1st in Cincy - KC game.

Cards struggle a bit vs lhp and have a higher k-rate vs them. I think Mets can keep it close and steal the win. I'm using Niese in a few DFS tournaments...gulp...

@Posey
No you are not doing anything wrong, it's my fault, I have to much data in front of me, lots of numbers, and I sometimes I rush to put thoughts to paper, in this case thread, and what comes out is not what I mean to put out, and I make silly inane istakes, like Pitt on the road, I need to slow down for the sake of accuracy.
@Bear
Knock off your inane posts, and go back to your old ways, we can co-exist, you are capable of participating in good chat, demonstrate that please.
Shileds tonight is my fantasy starter, at home in a pticher friendly part.
My sleepers are Chris Young hitting third, hits LHP well.
Grady Sizemore, hitting third, at Coors, facing a hamburger on the hill, and is swinging the bat well.

BRAVES -103 tonight
Braves look too good to be true in this spot. Lefties should kill this guy. They have Markakis in the four hole for a reason, look for Nick and Freddy to go off. Maybe even AJP
