Belichick knows what's been going on. I just can't believe a QB wants low air in a football??? I don't see any advantage throwing one? I've played with low air... I've played with an over inflated ball....

The only thing it helps... is if your opponent's QB doesn't know what the hells going on? I know there was wind and rain for Luck to throw against... but if you look at the video... he overthrew receivers... and he underthrew them.

I just don't see an advantage for Brady throwing a ball like that.

Gold cleats are against rules, but i dont think wearing them is cheating...this wasnt a deflated sack of leather like people are making it seem..all the balls are different and im pretty sure if a team came to NE with balls at the same air pressure, NE would roll them anyways..dont be sheep, think for yourself..if somone wanted to sabotage the pats this would be a good way..look at the people crawling out of the wood work to hate. This is my take and my take alone as to what may have happened, as I have not heard this theory yet.
Brady may have said to the equiptment manager "listen, it's wet out here, do me a favor, take all the game balls down to 12.5 psi (the minimum psi that is legal) so I can get a better grip", the equiptment being Tom and Bill's butt boy said "sure thing Mr. Brady"

There is a good chance the equiptment manager may have ****** up inadvertantly and brought it down under 12.5
There is a chance that Belichick could have been out of the loop on that, Belichick would not order that behind Brady's back, Bill doesn't throw or catch the ball.

Anyone who thinks the players wouldnt know the specific psi etc are fooling themselves...i played on a class A slowpitch softball team where a guy would freeze the softballs so they would be rock hard and jump,off the juiced bats. Keep in cooler with the beer. ITS. SLOW PITCH
In certain upper levels in our area you supply your own balls. This guy would be talking about the balls COR rating with guys all the time ( the hardness of the ball)
Then he left out team to play for one a level higher.- league called Majors
Many of These guys get paid to play and a few get flown in to play

For the teams who werent doing it they were crying foul and rules got implemented to not use frozen balls..even if you supplied them. Personally i didnt care either way as they only used them with the big hitters and not sure how much it really mattered

as luck would have it, our team played their team the following year in a big minneapolis tournament and this same guy was trying to sneak in frozen balls and got caught by our manager

He went on to deny it and claimed he would never do such a thing(despite doing it while on our team)... Damn near turned into fist fight between a few of the guys

this same guy would remove the tape from the handle and they would shave down the metal bat handle to increase bat head speed.. They would also pull the plastic end off the bats and stuff with racquet balls then replace the ends creating a trampoline effect These last two items i found out after he left our team.

again this was summer league softball...some people will go to whatever lengths to get an advantage whether its ethical, illegal or not even with essentially nothing at stake. Hell there were guys taking steroids to play softball and look big with cutoff sleeves

during high school baseball we had one guy who would sit in the dug out and bite the seams on Diamond King brand balls to raise the seams so the knuckleball would flutter more created by the additional resistance. Worked better for knucklers but breaking balls moved more as well. As a 16 yr old i saw it as a lot of unnecessary work but looking back he was modifying balls to get an advantage

Same type people doing it in pros with peds etc just now there's millions of dollars in the mix
Look how many guys are still getting caught for PEDS despite the awareness and additional testing.. And they will continue until owners stop giving monster contracts and ban cheaters

Back in my dad's day, the bowling balls were rubber, depending on the lane conditions that good bowlers knew in advance, they would treat the rubber bowling balls in advance, either with heat, to make the ball softer to hook more on oily conditions, or put the balls in butcher freezers to harden them to cut down on the hook.

The harder the surface of the bowling ball, the less it hooks on dry bowling lanes.

Shit like that in all sports have been going on since the beginning of time.

This is not true. Brady hand picked the balls the patriots play with. And indy picked the balls they play with. The teams bring their own balls.
