The left-handed Ramos is only 24, he was the 35th player selected in the 2005 draft. He was also Promoted from Triple-A Portland at the end of the Paciic Coast League season, Ramos has allowed one run on six hits over 5⅓ innings in three relief appearances with the Padres. That means he has given up a hit every inning he pitched. NOT GOOD.

Ramos was 5-6 with a 3.99 ERA in 15 starts with the Beavers. In May he suffered shoulder tightness and went on the disabled list. He has had shoulder problems for a while.

During the Padres' first 21 games in September, Black had gone to the bullpen 81 times. The bullpen is being over worked. Closer Heath Bell and setup man Luke Gregerson both had worked 13 times. Left-hander Joe Thatcher and Ryan Webb both had made 10 appearances while Adam Russell had pitched in nine games.

This guy will not go more than 5 innings. The Dogers should hit him and get to the tired Pads bullpen early. Billingley should have a GREAT game.

No worries agaist Ramos.
