#41he'd have a hell of a time winning in the SEC his style would take 2-3 recruiting classes to get going.... by that time the heats on theres a reason floridas QBs have like 1500 passing yards combined and why they cant run the ball gators offensive line is weak as hellComment -

#46A good rb and good wr. That's it on offense. The gators played Kentucky earlier this year and the cats had the fastest players. Next coach doesn't have shit to work with. Middle of the conference talent at best.Comment -

#54Prob try and steal Kyle Whittingham from Utes. That poor guy is 3 bonehead plays away from a potential undefeated season with the worst QB play in the pac-12. 3rd and 11 convert for a td, a missed kick, and if that retard doesnt lay the ball down before crossing the goaline they might have been able to pul an upset. Florida already took Urban Meyer from Utah.Comment -

#55What you want is a recruiter. Fla is breeding ground for athletes. Call me crazy but I would look at Ed orgeron. Relentless recruiter, give him a kick ass staff and that guy would have talent to match bama. He can recruit Louisiana, California, wherever... It won't happen but now that he has experience I think somebody needs to go after him.Comment -

#56Heard on radio that mullen and rich rod were both already "ruled out". I think they'd be stupid to hire the cancer that is known as lane kiffin.
I'm guessin most likely a well established coach. Like whittingham, graham, maybe stoops (although he always talks shit about the sec), maybe mcelwain (he def has turned colorado st around quickly), maybe tuberville back in the sec? , maybe david cutcliffe? , maybe gary anderson?
My early favorites would probably be gary patterson (not sure he would leave what he has at tcu) or david cutcliffeComment -

#63Yeah, he is a crazy Cajun , he got pissed but he had a hand in buildings usc's program. He was hired by Carroll then went back for another stint. You're hearing it here first, if somebody hires orgeron he will field some real deal athletes. You're are only as good as you're players and Ed o is a top flight recruiter.Comment -

#66Gators don't need a recruiter. They did that with Zook. Only reason you do that is if you think your 2-3 years away from getting the guy you want. Rich rod and Mullen out. Mullen burned a bunch of bridges on way out. Kiffin out. Alum won't support it. It will be someone with head coaching experience. They won't go with a assistant again. Think a few names mentioned here make sense. Stoops is obvious but he is defensive guy and I'm relatively gators will go offensive. We went defensive with Zook and Muschamp. Foley can't miss on this one. He won't reach.Comment -

#67It should be a guy that you've never heard of. The QB coach for Minnesota. His name is Jim Zebrowski. He was our offensive coordinator in college and he is a football machine. Very offensive minded and a great person. He'd be a fresh face for NCAAF. Won't happen, but it should. They have nothing to lose.Comment -
