So the 13 points they scored on offense against st Louis was a result of these tapes. Seems to me the tapes meant shit because of they meant so much the new England offense would've scored more than 13 points. And what about the years the patriots didn't win a SB prior to "spygate?" Not exactly. Pats went 2 years without a SB appearance at the end of the "spygate" era, the Pats were already "cold" with regard to Superbowls long before spygate broke.

In 2007, while under investigation, the Pats had maybe the greatest season in NFL history if not for that miraculous helmet-catch. So, your claim that the "Superbowls stopped cold" is plain wrong, they did great while under the peak of the NFL investigation. Nevermind that there are 26 NFL franchises that haven't won a SB since spygate, including all of Peyton Manning's teams.
