You know you're right Mo because when I read the post above it stirred my memory and made me recall that many years ago I vaguely recollect hearing a story like that. It was when cancer first got its whole slogan of "Strike Out Cancer" you know with a strike mark through the word Cancer Mo and there was a child who called Mo to his bedside in the hospital where he was living and asked Mo to strike out to sound the warning bell on the marketing campaign.
Thanks for stirring my memory Mo because it encouraged me to try and operate one of those "search engine" things to see if I could find out more about it. I found this on a "cacheed" page whatever that is but turns out It was actually some chick named Greta in the Marketing dept. of something to do with thinking up and implementing the "Strike Out Cancer" marketing campaign Mo who actually bribed a Either:

....Simply put, they are the type of team that gives Oregon fits...Big, physical, very talented, and don't beat themselves with silly turnovers and penalties...very similar team to Stanford....Mich St should be able to pound the ball, move the chains, and eat up some clock thereby limiting Oregon's possessions....and the Spartans on defense are good enough to slow down the Ducks....this will be a 7 - 10 point game either way and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Mich St pulls off the upset.
