You guys know that it is ok to be on opposite sides here, correct? Also, different guys cap different ways AND some of them are successful.

I rely more on recent trends, no more than 7 days out, plus historical data of team versus team of no more than 12 months. Some delve further back. Also depends on the sport. Some of the best capers I have ever known are 'feel guys' and if you don't think there are guys out there making money without a lot of research you need to shake your head. Some people have a knack for knowing based on their own brains as opposed to complex mathematical algorithms.

Frankly, I love it when people disagree with what I post. When I post picks and a bunch of people come on and say 'I love them' or 'you got all the same games as me man!' I know I am screwed.

Anyways, just my two cents. There will always be people on opposite sides....that's the industry, that's how lines are set.....and the less educated people out there, the more donkeys out there losing money, the better for those of us that win consistently. They love the lines for us and they make sure our books have lots of money to pay us.

The total is a NO PLAY for me. The mean game in Denver goes under, the general betting public does not believe this (maybe they go by average over mean?). To many factors are unsure in this game, such as pitcher's history in the park, etc.

I still like the Tigers on the ML, and think they win this game more than an average 4 times out of 7 (break even territory).

Never gonna forget Dickerson falling down between 3rd and home this year in the bottom of the ninth nobody out down 2runs, next guy up (Rosario) pops a homer and rocks lose by 1 sooo pissed they couldnt even get me to extras that day.
