He plays the wing. He plays the set pieces in. He would have to make an unreal run through the opposition to get that chance.
But I agree it was a good chance.

Wing/forward/up top all the same thing....they need to get him on the team. If you watch nobody has the ability to beat guys off the dribble and the only ones who can finish are Bradley and Dempsey.

I agree. Trying to be way too fancy. Hes not that type of guy at all. Needs to hold guys off, play one and two touch, and get in good spots.
Our defense is so shaky. Not good when playing the teams in our group.

He is much slower and not in form.
Im not saying he shouldnt be on 23 man roster, but he would be less of a factor than people think. Would be a strong reserve coming off the bench to make a difference, though.

Jozy needs a goal to get things going but he's drawn a ton of fouls and had some nice layoffs.....Just needs to be more aggressive at the net overall though

Regardless the US dominated throughout....at no point were they really even tested defensively

I like him better than Wondo as the first striker off the bench....He can also play CAM and out wide as an extra attacker so it wouldn't be crazy at all to see him get on as a sub at some point

Agreed would rather have seen a team that actually attempts to attack.....hopefully the next 2 friendlies are better games and practice
