Yeaaa, we ever so briefly touched $1232 less than 2 weeks ago. Last week we saw $1242 a couple of times.

We may not break $1250 but I'll deed you the Golden Gate Bridge if we don't see $1260 by April Fools Day.

John, Just bought 4oz's today. Took what was left of my Tax return invested it in gold got lucky and bought in at $1190 a oz. Local store going under guy was taking offers.

24k. .999 Pure. IRA approved PAMP Suisse sealed in Assay. He had them listed at $1229 at the time. I was hoping to lower it more but the guy knew I was already taking huge advantage.

Wish I had more cash I would of. But I'm just a normal guy. Our Taxes usually go to one of two things. Home improvement or Small investments. This year half went to this gold and the other half went to buy the wife a cheap 70k Mile Used car. Didn't do to bad on either end of the deals.

Never finance any vehicle boys. Unless it's 0% interest. Always take free money.

I definitely can understand that and good call on putting it into an investment, data has shown house improvements can be a waste a lot of the time.

Would be great if the internet was a trustworthy place or I'd go in on it with you.

Yeah, home improvements are usually just money you spend for your own enjoyment not hoping to even get 40% back out of it most times.

Yeah for a small profit, but then what? Wait for it to drop to rebuy? Doesn't seem like that's going to happen in the next 6 months. So much better to hold my position & find the peak. Small profits are for day traders.

I bought between $1345 and $1202 with a position that is about 70% complete. You may want to buy a 10% stake here at $1315 and buy on dips. I will say I feel strongly that gold is not going up much and will trade sideways for a year or so. That opinion has been stated by Goldman and other big timers. The big move up will fire up as paper currencies begin to buckle under their huge and rising debts. As they devalue their currencies so they can pay the debt, gold will go higher by default. Gold has no debt.

Anything for 5-10+ years. Gold should do well.
