#40Somehow my gut is telling me Packers....my gut is telling me SF won't play well in the cold at Lambeau field. I want to bet 49ers but my gut is telling me "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". I might lay off and not play.Comment -

#42niners should roll. SHOULD. but anything can happen....other than the obvious running game should dominate...but the x factor why sf is the play is the history of kaepernick vs packers..he can fling it on packers as well.Comment -

#45Possible, however I think he shook off the rust last week in the first quarter vs Chicago, pressing too much and throwing 2 INTs. After that, he settled down nicely and had solid support from Lacy/Starks for a balanced offense and three great 2H TD drives of 77, 80, and 87 yards. He seemed 100% to me, so the cold probably poses more of a problem than the rust.Comment -

How many sacks can the Niners muster up today? A few I hope.Comment -

The line is sitting at Over 4.5 (-125) right now. Doesn't seem like a particularly good option either way.Comment -

#50Probably at least 2-3. The Niners need to be cautious about sending too many men too often though. SF should emphasize getting pressure without over committing in the first half. Asking their pass rushers to work too hard in -20C temps is going to gas them fast, and if they're tired later when they need to apply pressure, Rodgers will win more of those snaps than he loses.

#51It's actually really tough to be sure of how SF will play this game on offense. In the last 2 years, they've played three games and every time the Niners showed a very different offensive strategy. Frank Gore won the first game almost single handedly, then Kaep's zone read cut them up in the playoffs, and then this year he sat back and had a monster passing day with Anquan Boldin. It's going to be interesting to see how GB decides to defend and how fast they're able to adjust when Harbaugh throws some wrinkles into the gameplan.
I do think that the team that blitzes the most today (probably GB) will be putting themselves at a big disadvantage from the start. It's going to come down to the respective defensive backfields winning in coverage on the elite receivers today. In terms of overall talent and momentum the Niners have the edge in this game, but that freezing cold Lambeau air is a big equalizer. No matter what SF says about being ready for it, they will not be as well prepared for the cold as the Packers.Comment -
