That's what you'd think, but they keep screwing up. They need defencemen, not a center. If they do take him, they're going to need to pull off some trades to bring in a couple of decent blue-liners. I think Eberle and Yakupov will have to get dealt.

As for the comeback, that's one of the things I love about the tourney. In the NHL, a 5-1 lead and the team would go into lockdown mode. But these are kids, and their emotions can get the better of them.

Well, dont want to be nasty, but didnt just Kings came back from 1:5 vs Nashville to 6:6 and overtime few days ago? Its not always about being kids and having emotions, but I get your point. Much more possible to happen in tourney like that than in regular NHL season, unfortunately...


As for today, cant wait to see what Nashville - Carolina score is. Preds got 9 games in a row over 2,5 goals/game, and its one of longest streaks like that in this season so far (if not the longest one). Carolina used to keep their games under lately - 7 games in a row under 5, which is kinda incredible..

Very true Mick, they need D bad. Wouldn't be a bad idea to trade a piece they have now to upgrade right away. They have some very good names at forward and we all know it can't always be the coaches fault for their performance. They've went through enough coaches to rule that out. Need a trade to make something happen on D and in net

I thought about that game as I was typing the message. NHL teams do melt down, it is true. But as you said, there is a much stronger chance of it happening in a tourney like this. We see the same thing in the NCAA, especially a tourney like March Madness.

If its about '-1 bets', bet365 -1 are not the same as they are in pinnacle. Bet365 -1 are only for regulation, so if it goes to overtime, this bet loses, no matter what happen after that.

No complaints here. In the last week, Cotes had six winning days, for a total of +663 if you hadn't played his World Junior Future (doh!), $1163 if you had. Last night I lost $112, far from a disaster. On top of it all. no insane fees to calculate in either.

This thread is the best thing that's ever happened to my bankroll.

No complaints here. In the last week, Cotes had six winning days, for a total of +663 if you hadn't played his World Junior Future (doh!), $1163 if you had. Last night I lost $112, far from a disaster. On top of it all. no insane fees to calculate in either.

I got to watch the final period of the Rangers-Ducks game...sure helps to watch from time to time...I have now seen the equivalent of 1 full nhl game this year.
I really thought home ice was a big advantage, but doesn't seem to be...a couple seasons ago it was for SJ, Chicago, and LAK...and last season the Ducks were D-ominant.
What happened this year? (aside from Preds)

that is not true.. i use bet 365 -1, as long the the team wins even by 1 in reg/ot/so, you get the push
