A couple of interesting things from ESPN article:

The Wolverines (6-3) have won 37 of 39 at home, including 20 straight against non-conference foes dating to a 67-60 overtime loss to then-No. 3 Kansas on Jan. 9, 2011.

The last seven times a top-five team visited, the games have been decided by an average of 2.2 points.

When looking at this year's results two thing stick out to me. Michigan's losses all have one thing in common - they were out rebounded, which doesn't give you much confidence when playing the #2 rebounding team in the country. In all of Arizona's close games this year, they lost the turnover battle or had double digit turnovers. Michigan definitely has the upper hand in turnovers as they don't turn the ball over much, but the big question is whether they can force enough turnovers to make this an up and down game neutralizing Arizona's size advantage.I may play Michigan moneyline if the number falls closer to 1pt, but hard to lay 2.5pts here considering there are a lot of unknowns.

This is the game in a nut shell.

Arizona will dominate inside, and could very easily win this game going away if Michigan isn't hitting from range.

On the reverse side, Michigan can only win this game if their 3's are falling. The thing is, if they're falling, it's next to impossible to beat them.

Michigan has about 3 guys on their roster that should be on NBA rosters shortly. Obviously Arizona is loaded with NBA talent to match up with that, but the point being Michigan is a very solid club.

I would have to disargee with you here...

Since November 17th, an unranked team being favored over a ranked team is only winning 25%. Albeit, that is when the unranked team is at home so it is only a half dozen games or so.

With that being said, I do like Michigan over Arizona in this one. Arizona getting points is too fishy for me, especially with a lot of public money on Arizona. I also thought that about last nights Towson game, 97% were on the over, that is always a little skeptical, but it went way over.

Something to look at until game time I guess. Either way, will be a fun game to watch.

Home favorite vs. ranked road opponent, usually works well. Rare to a see top 10, top 5, let alone #1 team as the dog. But oh well, just made it that much easier to take Michigan.
