Why do Christians think that everyone needs a god to be scared of in order to be a good person? I'm living my life as if there is no God, but that doesn't make me an asshole. It is possible to be a good person simply because, you know, it's the right thing to do.

About 6 months ago I stopped being OK with people who believe in god. I am approaching this subject as aggressive as asshats trying to sell religion. People who believe in god are on the same level as those who believe in Magic, Witches and other loony ass shit.

I am familiar with the quote, as it is spouted by every moron trying to justify not only believing in bullshit, but acting on it.

Here's a quote from a person the Republicans have adopted as their own:
