I think FH is closer than that. He is very familiar with South Las Vegas Blvd. landmarks like the Southpoint, Dotty's, Circle K, and the Boulevard.

Only condos that are nice on strip are at City Center and they are 7 figure properties. The monthly fees alone are more than most can afford.

I'd kill myself if I had to deal with the strip to get home everyday.

Mountains and rural are the optimal places for me. If I want to have action, I will use a modern invention that makes traveling distances a breeze.

Besides, it costs next to nothing if not nothing to simply get a room on the strip if it is that big a deal to be in the action.

The Mandarin Oriental and Veer have cut prices tremendously. Monthly HOA at Mandarin is high, but somewhat normal at Veer. Quite a few of these units are now rental units.....

Also doesn't count HOA fees... also Palms Place is not on the strip but had a $1250 lease on a one bedroom when I checked last year
