#5Well, Pinny is great but unfortunately the arb has at least 2 sides which means you'll need another bookmaker and i can't see it anywhere. If they are slow on moving the lines than they'll limit you (even if they have no intention to move the line they'll still limit you for making that pick), and if they won't limit you than they are too quick to move the line so you wont have the opportunity to make a bet. Sure you can get an arb from time to time but on a regular bases for making some serious money i don't see how)Comment -

#8Non US...you need matchbook, pinnacle and 5d typically...Betfair also.
Next, learn to read lines..predict movement and keep a constant eye for injuries or betting trends.
From there, cherry pick your bonus offers to sweeten the arbitrage.
US player- forget it...you cant make it on arbitrage alone. Combining this eith bonus whoring, you can eek out a profit...but you need to realize the roll and risk tolerance needed are high...your better off playing stocks.
You hear of people who did this, and its true...but 90% cant long term. The select 10% vary widely in profitability. Solid gamblers will always make a profit and losers will always lose...arbitrage is just a way to enchance profitable gambling habits.Comment -

#14For the most part..yes.
Are there exceptions in the US market..sure. Find a slow local, put 5 dimes in heritage and 5d as well as a shop like Bovada and you can generate a positive return provided everyone pays and the fees dont add up. This is straight arbitrage play mind you..no bonuses.
Now, just bouncing between bookmaker, heritage, 5d and Bovada..no, I stick with you cant make it long term.
Your going to be making 5% or less every opportunity you find..your going to quickly be limited to 500 or less if you win at most shops not named heritage..and payouts will cost you 50 bucks every time you take more than 1 (thats 2 arbs right there..and you'll be lucky to find 6-8 a week).
Take the same 10k your putting offshore, invesr and sell covered calls 14-30 days out in a high volatility stock and you can earn 20-35% easily yearly. Takes less searching, lower risk and only downside is the IRS reporting.
Like I said..arbitrage is a tool...it helps prifitable gamblers win more..but wont make a flawed gambler a winner...losers always find ways to lose their profits.Comment -

#21Between any 2 books there can be an arbitrage.
Best bet..american baseball and minor sports for european bettors...the lack of volume in euro sports boost potential for one sided volume...the positioning between bookmakers for early MLB lines helps catch big faves cheaper and the play the dog later to create an arbitrage.
Bottom line..no one here is able to tell you an exact patch to riches..if it were that easy..there wouldnt be a bookie left to gamble with...someone always has to lose.Comment -
