Going to start a 10-team open parlay on 5dimes. I am going to take this thing slowly.

Starting off with 2 picks today.

City second in the table and won`t move up or down no matter the outcome. Villa in the relegation spot, can move out of it with a win or draw. Villa has a shitty defense but I wouldn`t lay a goal here.....Villa will put up a fight.

Yeah, City might trash them and they do have the firepower to do it....

the new 1st leg is ManCity -1...they're currently up 1-0...if it ends this way...is this another push (or would it be a loss...damn, when soccer draws are pushes and when they are losses is inscrutable to me)

Bad spot to bet Cavs, Knicks win by 6.

What I really like is the fact the Knicks only have 1 win ats in the last 10 games with a push. They should be playing with a little extra incentive after losing 6 of 10 and coming off blowing the game vs the Heat yesterday.

To make it sweeter the Cavs have covered 7 of 10 and had covered 6 straight before losing to the Clippers.

I don't follow anyone's picks. Just looking at the props and matchups on sftc itself can be helpful sometimes. What I try to do is try to look at matchups in the perspective of oddsmakers; see why a line is given a certain way. Remember they're trying to take your money, not let you win.

play around with this super-handy customizable score-board...for every game there's a "matchup" link that quite concisely puts together lots of stats and consensus% numbers at-a-glance

I was looking at what an open parlay was, as i dont think we have them in UK. This comment from Justin7 has gained my interest:

2. Volume. If a book is only taking nickels on a small, easy to beat market, try mixing it in with parlays. A nickel in a parlay (or 10 nickels in parlays) often don't move the line, when a straight bet would. A minor warning though - books dislike this, and will take countermeasures against you, although they should honor the bets.

Which correlated markets can you take and put them in the open parlay? Can you do for example in soccer; TEAM A to win, and Team A to win at half time? Im a bit confused..
