So many things were wrong with the end of that game. Poor reffing happened much before the final play of regulation. There was a play with just a couple minutes left when Withey bucked one of the Iowa St players going for a loose ball. Instead they end up calling a foul on Iowa St on a clear 50/50 loose ball.

Then during the final 30 seconds when Kansas is intentionally fouling, Withey obviously commits his 5th foul, yet they gave the to someone else. This was pretty big, because he got to play in OT. The game never should have even went to overtime, but the fact that Withey was still playing was embarrassing.

Yeah I've been reading these reports. Hard to win when your are playing 5 against 8.

Sure the calls down the stretch were bad.....buttttttt Kansas got scammed multiple times mid 2nd half. I distinctly remember two times were Iowa St defender was either moving or leaned over, and Kansas got called for a charge. It all evens itself out in the end the way I see it.

If I backed Iowa St, I'd be more concerned with the fact the Cyclones were up 7 or so with 3 minutes.....and 3 straight possessions used no clock, and came away with nothing.

If they had of used 25 or 30 seconds each possession, Kansas wouldnt have been in position to hit a few late shots to force OT.

Withey fouled out like seven times, yet never actually did. It's like he was a cat.

That was a pretty ridiculous game. Cyclones were hitting everything and deserved the W.
