Imo several places already rival it if not better. NJ, PA, IL, IA, MS. All have several different brands of books per state. Online or in person. You'll never get a place that has as many casinos next to each other in close proximity like vegas but if you just need lines to compare those 5 states I just listed are as good as Vegas. Actually better if you use all the bonuses and odds boosts and shit they offer. Vegas is dead. I have no reason or desire to ever go there again now that sports is legal all over the Midwest and East. Legal online was the game changer. It's what put the nail in the coffin for Vegas. Vegas will alway get people from California coming in but people from the East and Midwest have no reason to go to Vegas anymore. Most of the Vegas casinos use the same 3 or 4 makers anyway so not much variety out there on lines anyway.

The main reason I was asking was for a spot that maybe wasn't as many casinos, but a couple and a nice sportsbook with warmer weather. There will be more and more midwest/south/FL books that pop up I presume, and as long as they are attended (it is fun to cheer with the other degens) it would be a consideration.

Nobody goes to Vegas for a vacation unless they're a fukkin square or are from California. Like stackingreen said why go to Vegas when you can go somewhere with a beach, nicer weather and more to do? Vegas has terrible weather. It's hot af summer and cool winter so only good time to go is like March Madness or MLB playoffs. Anything you said you can do in Vegas you can do in other cities like Chicago, St. Louis, Denver, Indianapolis, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Philly, NYC metro etc. That band you like the Killers tours to all those cities. All those cities have sports betting and casinos and poker rooms. All have way more touristy and vacation type stuff to do than Vegas. Vegas is literally a desert with a bunch of casinos, a dam and the grand canyon an hour away. Big shit after you see it once. There's a fukk ton more to do in a real city like NYC, Denver or Chicago than Vegas lol. I have zero desire to ever go back to Vegas. It's all trashy people. I'd rather go to Denver or Chicago or if FL ever gets sports betting Miami or Tampa. Fukk Vegas man. It was cool the first 2 times I went when I was 21 it's played out now. Unfortunately right now no beachy states like FL, AL, SC, CA or HI have sports betting but that will change in the future. I think FL will get it soon. Right now best we have is MS. It has beaches but they aren't great like FL or CA. Still though better than nothing. AC and Tunica MS are the closest things to Vegas as far as a bunch of casinos in proximity but nothing will ever beat Vegas for number of casinos in one area. That's not a big deal for me though. I don't need 60 casinos. 2 or 3 are fine amongst a big city with a bunch of stuff to do like Denver or Chicago. If FL gets sports they win. Hands down will be the best state for tourism.

I used to like the Killers when I was youuuuuuungggg. Ba da da da dum. Lol. They were big when I was early high school years or maybe middle school, can't remember. I'm younger than most people on this forum. Anyway they're a good band but I started liking them less once I found out they had ties to Mormonism. But I get your point about Vegas. Many people would still go to Vegas to attend conventions or for business trips also.
