Why do Madden players play so juvenile?

So far in all of my matches playing online PS3 Madden NFL, no one punts on 4th down and everyone goes for 2 regardless of score instead of kicking the point after.

and im not sure the answer to that but it seems that happens to me, i go for it a lot on 4th down too, but not many 2 points conv. unless they go for it

everyone goes for 2?? I have played over 100 games on ps3 online and hardly anyone goes for 2... as for the 4th down stuff though its 50/50. I hate playing against those fags that go for 4th and 10 on their side of the field and shit. Add me if you want to play sometime.... I play fair, jd82084

I only go for it if I can't get a FG or it's less than two yards. Less than two yards = FB dive or QB sneak with VY. Works over 70% of the time if you go no huddle and catch the defense out of the goal line set.

no i dont, shut up. i have my "go to" plays where if i need a big first down I may go back to a play but you guys just bitch way too much. I have a balanced attack. I run, i pass, i mix it up. I dont just use the same play

You guys will find this pathetic, but I was just getting my ass whipped, and my opponent did something called "offer me mercy", where it was a friendly quit and my "DNF" wasnt affected but was recorded a loss. So I hit accept.

I was badass in Madden 08. I had a handful of nanos that made i impossible to score. Had a passing play that seemed to always pick up 10-12 yards and if not I had VY to scramble with. Might pick up 09 later

I'm so/so on 360...was better at 08 than 09...

I play as the steelers or colts/bears alot. ITs hard to run with the steelers...

WP will fall over if the wind touches him...
Colts are okay but the defense is lacking...so you have to make up with user attempts to intercept, which can be risky...

Bears have no WR...so I have to try to get Hester on LB to get a huge advantage and seam route him or do drags over the middle...

here is what I get...when I play with the bengals... TJ sucks at catching deep balls..he's a 96 overall and he sucks at deep ball catches...yet CJ tears it up...Plax and Moss tear it up as well...along with some others....

But TJ for some reason is like the most overrated 96 overall player... in the damn madden game

I have a 360 but have never played it online. I thought I read though that with the 360 online, it wont let you go for it in certain situations on 4th down.

Impossible to cover Moss one-on-one in Madden. Every time I play against the Pats, I double him with a safety over the top, which leaves you susceptible to other plays. And every throw by Brady is right on the money. Even the worst player is difficult to beat if they're NE.

I usually play as the Pack or Eagles. GB's secondary is filthy, and Jennings is a beast. Ryan Grant's garbage, though. No speed at all. Brian Westbrook's a monster and DeSean Jackson's rating doesn't do him justice in the game. And always nice to have a mobile QB (even if he doesn't know games can end in a tie).

yeah, playing against the patriots sucks... I just refuse to play them...most of them are noobs that just toss it to moss...
