all good point banker, Im gonna lay off this one, maybe make a live bet if a team goes up early, or maybe we get quick td on an opening drive,

just quick question bout what you know, trying to think what teams are still running cover 2 as their base defense? I think its only chicago and minnesota, is their any other teams that you can think of that run the cover 2 a lot? I havent even watched minnesota enough to know I just read it in an espn mag article the other day when I was waiting to get a hair cut.....intrestingly enough if you look at those 2 team defensive rankings, its almost like baiting teams to run on them, teams run on minn/chic very frequently, but at the same time theyve been unsuccessfull.....very intresting....speaks volumes to these teams front 4 and their contribution to the team....

minnesota and chicago are the only 2. chicago plays more pure cover 2 than minnesota though.
my main reason from laying off the calvin johnson prop tonight.. minnesota's cover 2 shut him down.

that sp/d td prop, if you ask me if i looked thru props that be something id grab as i not a prop player, something tells me be hard pressed to find avg joe that would lay that juice on NO with way hester returns, both qbs throw picks, and bears d scoring like a td a week...makes me think it a little suspect,,if it dont hit id say gm under is golden..

hate being on different side of the fence than you man.. i think the game goes over tonight. when i first started cappin the game i was all over the under so i definitely see and hear where ur comin from but the more i thought about it the more I liked the over. FG's wont do the trick tonight in my opinion.. detroit knows they need to come out hot and not let chicago get the lead...chicago will be abledrive down the field easily.. noone can cover brandon marshall...red zone success will be the key tonight..but I think we're gonna see some points from both teams. either way i got small moneys on it.. just thought id post a different angle..

seeing how phi has a hard time covering spreads less than 3 i cant make a great argument against, however i like my short dog teasers to be teams i think will win and i really like phi to get the W and wouldnt shock me if they finally got 1 in convincing fashion..you know i like that range tho, but if i was to take another short dog in this id prob lean oak +8 @ kc but not sure i love that either,,suppose i could use thu gm and tease bucs up? not much in the way of fav options for teasers this week, den really only one i like but that not till night, pats prob ok but dont like that london gm...

atl/phi...this has to be gm of the week and i already have seen several threads about it we all know what reid's teams do off a bye so no need talking bout that...

lets talk bout atl while i like this team and they have passed every road test thus far(something they have struggled with in years past), but in reality they have had a pretty easy go of it in their road test to date...this is a team that has been out rushed in all but 1 gm this season and allow opponents over 5 ypc! maybe im too old school and the ground gm isnt as important as in years past but to me you simply are not elite getting owned on the ground like that!

i was ready to bang a little on Reids gm planning as my perception of phi is they never run enough but i must admit maybe my perception was a little skewed as phi avg 30 attempts a gm ranking them 9th in the league, granted im sure vick scrambling accounts for more of that than it should i was still surprised to see it...before phi last 2 losses they won the rushing battle in every gm prior, im sure if i can figure this out reid is smart enough to look at the falcons d and do the same..

far as philly goes i truly believe they are very capable of being one of the better teams at the end of this season, i feel like ive been burnt by them a bunch but in reality i think it was only the balt gm and maybe nyg on short spreads, know cashed on them against pit, what im saying is obviously i have bet several of their gms in one way or another and the same thing always happens, phi drives field in most gms and the whole time im hoping like hell they score before they get inside the 20 as this where the real problems come to fruition with this team,,,site i use for my numbers is having problems today so bare w me but i know the numbers have to be bad (thinking well under 50% of trips in tds and a high number with no points at all), imo this is a correctable problem and one that if fixed will have phi putting teams away ...for this week i know atl has given up a very high conversion percent in the red zone and they mostly rushing touchdowns so pay attention andy, give mccoy the rock early and often!

the oline coach to defensive coordinator experiment is finally over (wtf was he thinking in the 1st place ill never know), this d was already respectable and 1 would have to assume it can only get better with a qualified guy calling the shots..

honestly i am so tempted to break the golden rule here and tease the fav, not sure ive ever done this but i only see this gm 2 ways, either phi fixes the red zone mistakes and blows atl out or they continue to shoot themselves in the foot and matty ice has a chance to steal this thing late,,,either way phi+3.5 is incredibly likely to hit imho but maybe i get burnt as i feel dirty inside even suggesting teasing a fav across the 0...

think this is a rare exception to your teaser rule. it's a funky spread..i like youre way of thining here. hard for me to get a good read on this game so reading your analysis gets my juices flowing. you mentioned philly and the rushing.. when mccoy gets 20+ carries, they win.. its such an easy f*cking formula you would think reid would get the picture.
