    If Eli Wins Another Superbowl......
If Eli wins the superbowl this year, will he leave behind a greater legacy than his brother? Of course assuming Pyeton doesn't win another one.

    I think so.

I don't think so. Payton is arguably the best QB ever, Eli is arguably not even a top 5 active QB. If Ely wins another SB the only thing it will prove is that teams can win multiple titles with a mediocre QB.

Any sport that has a playoff involves some luck in order to win. Sometimes talent does not answer all the questions. Peyton is better than Eli and its not even close.

I think there is no question that Peyton Manning is a better overall quarterback than Eli. But I also think that Eli oftentimes gets under appreciated and peyton gets over appreciated.

However, If Eli wins a 2nd superbowl and continues to put up good numbers for the rest of his career, and peyton doesn't recover from his surgery, I think people may tend to remember them as the amazing eli and the injury stricken peyton.

There is no doubt both are great QB's. But I just find it funny how a year ago to this day everyone in the world ridiculed Eli and everyone was in love with Peyton. And now a year later we are talking about Eli as a top 5 QB are possibly winning another superbowl, whereas Peyton may never be the same again.

Right now Eli is the #5 best QB in the NFL. He wins a second ring he will be the best QB New York has EVER had in it's history. Screw Namath, Simms and Hostetler.

If Eli wins a second Superbowl, I will never speak a word of ill towards him ever again. That is going to be hard, but the end justify the means. Go ELI!

And, yes, Peyton can have all the stats, and he's definitely better, but I'll take Eli's SB rings as proof he doesn't choke as much as his big brother does. That is if Eli can actually muster up a second Superbowl. Go ELI!

eli is really coming into his own. the last few games showed his grit. I'm starting to like him.

I remember early in his career when everyone would blitz him because he'd get so scared and he make those ridiculous passes (like with his left hand) and he'd get hit so hard. You have to give it to this guy. He's taken his licks and kept ticking.

That being said, he is in NO WAY Peyton Manning.

Manning has changed the face of the NFL QB. He in a leader. He does so many little things that make him great, such as his fake line of sight to confuse the opponent's defense, his short passes to his FB to score the 1st down, the way he can read the other team's D in the line of scrimmage AND make the necessary adjustments. He CONTROLS the ball, so his old mediocre Colt's D can rest and he wears down the other team's D. He's not just a great technician that can throw a ball into a tight window (that's 70% of other QB). He's so much more.

That's why it's so hard to see him on any other team,\; taking plays from the O-Coordinator on the sidelines.

Anyways, I like eli, but he's got a ways to go before he's peyton. Peyton is the Lebron of NFL, haha.

peyton has "choked" more than eli, because Peyton is in the position to "choke" more than eli ... Peyton Manning is the whole F'ing team ... without him they are a sub .500 team ... when there is that much put on your shoulders, its amazing you even make the playoffs ... Eli only won the superbowl because of a circus catch by david tyree ... without that catch and after the giants lose this year, eli would be known as a "choker" as well

they should go back the last 8 yrs and re-award the MVP award to Peyton Manning every year

The only way Eli will get a ring this year is if he steals it off of Brady's finger!

Calling Eli Manning a mediocre QB is either proof that your a hater or you have absolutely 0%, I mean nadan your sports credibility is less than 0, clue about sports. That is just a dumb statement, I don't think that you even believe that. Eli is not even close to be mediocre.
