    That is correct...

Eli has the best road record in the playoffs EVER for a QB. He don't need a silly dome and he also doesn't choke. He is a great leader and he's amazing at adjusting at the line of scrimmage. The only bad thing I can say is that he isn't mobile, at all.

They won 9 games this year before the post season, hardly elite from a QB.
Last year was just bad for his team overall. Tons of deflected passes by his receiving core that got intercepted.

As for wins in the regular season? Who cares as long as they make the playoffs? I take the QB that will get it done in the playoffs, that will lead his team to victory when it matters and doesn't choke with the back against the wall.

Eli had the 6th most passing yards in NFL history this year (4,933), even topping Peyton's best (4,700).

How about Eli's league-leading 6 game winning drives? The only active QBs with more career GWDs are Brady, Brees & Ben.

Season stats support Eli being a top 5 currently active NFL QB, easily. I'd even put him in the top 3 with Brees & Brady.

As I said above, it's way too early to compare Eli's career to already retired players or even Peyton. But if Eli has 5 more seasons like this one, he'll replace Peyton as the top Manning QB and maybe even be the consensus #1 active QB in the NFL at some point. This has been Eli's best year, the only question is whether he can keep this pace that he's demonstrated this year. If we look at his family pedigree or even similar QBs over history, especially in the "hypermodern" era, this is very likely to happen.

This guy Eli is elite, just like he said early in the season. The comparison to Tom Brady wasn't a joke, after all! We love you ELI!

Payton is a hall of famer right now Eli is not. Look up the stats kids Eli's numbers don't get him into the hall of fame right now. He going to have to have some more very good seasons.

Number one qb in the league Eli are you buckin on drugs?

Eli was 7th in qb rating this season and had 29 tds and 16 int's.

                    Brees
                    Rodgers
                    Brady
                    Romo
                    Stafford

All had better numbers cept Romo with yards and Rodgers course he sat out some games.. All had better td to int percentages. All had better percentages passing the ball Eli was only at a 61 percent clip. As today showed he thru 2 ints that weren't picked off because the niner guys ran into each other. Man some of you need to look up Eli's stats again there not as good as some of you think cept for this season probably his best year.

but the dude is not as good as people are making him out to be
did people forget manning threw a ball rite to asante samuels on that last td drive in the superbowl?
it shud have been a pick 6 and game over
that lucky pass to tyree is wat it was, very lucky
both times, the defense is wat lead them to the superbowl as much as eli
they shut down atl, gb, and SF all on the road

but i will give the dude credit, hes great at the 2 minute drill and no huddle
i dunno y they dont do that more often
eli is definately in the discussion but hes not in brady or brees, rodgers league
i wonder where that dude who said romo was a top qb is at
                      romo is such a choker

If you think seriously think Romo is better than Eli, no further response is necessary. You've refuted yourself.

As for Stafford, we have to let time unfold to argue this. Stafford has had one awesome season so far.

Eli just beat Rodgers, so this comparison has already been settled for now. The Eli/Brady rematch should be interesting.

Correction: Giants beat the Packers, Eli didn't beat Rodgers. It's a team game.

Eli still throws too many INTs, doesn't win regular season games, stole a ring because of an impossible catch like someone else said. Consensus #1 QB in the league? IN THIS LIFETIME? Dude, just stop.

The issue Eli will ALWAYS come up against is that he is the lesser of the two football brothers. People overlook how good this season was for him, it was by far his best statistically. He really seems now to win consistently in the clutch. I'm by no means a Giant fan, far from it, but to say he's a dissappointment at the QB position is just nonsense really. I would much rather he win a 2nd Title then Brady win his 4th. We would never hear the end of it on ESPN because that entire network has been on Brady's jock since day 1.

you sir are a bafoon and a hater, Giants are the grittiest team in sports and they find ways to win as a TEAM whether it be special teams or Eli or that defensive front, they do it year in and year out and everyone tries to discredit them, and everyone that is a fan of an opposing team comes up with some rediculous excuse for why their team lost, but it is never that the Giants are better. Hate all you want, but the Giants are legit and luck has nothing to do with it.

Eli has thrown 1 interception (11 TDs) in the last 4 games, which have all been elimination games. Too many?

The last time time the Giants won the Super Bowl, Eli also had 1 interception in those 4 playoff games. Too many?

Eli doesn't win regular season games? He's 69-50 and the Giants never had a losing record in his 7 full seasons as a starter. He doesn't win games? He's got more game winning drives (23) at this point of his career than most QBs in NFL history. Compare this to Aaron Rodgers, for example, who only has 6.

there's no other active qb that could have went into rainy san fran the other nite against that pass rush and came away with 300+ yards 2 tds 0 turnovers and a win. brady and brees would have fumbled or thrown an int. rodgers would have left with concussion symptoms. romo or vick would have literally died. only iron man tough guy eli walks away with a W in that nfc championship game

He's thrown about 10 balls that should have been intercepted as well. Too many????

Fact is, NFL is just about luck as much as it is skill.

More games are lost than won.
