Think it just means GB aren't as bad as we might have thought and Hou aren't anywhere near as good as we might have thought, yet both could wind up in it at the end.

Statistically, GB scored twice as much as their season avg. HOU scored slightly under theirs. Based on that, and the fact that the Texans had home field advantage, I think it was more HOU having an off day than anything else. I don't take away anything from GB, though, but I'd like to see them repeat this kind of performance on a consistent basis. HOU will bounce back - waiting to see how the betting public reacts to this next week.

Lurking around cyberspace, I get the sense that most people aren't really confident of the outcome of this game. Look around your fav sports online hangout and you'll see that it's pretty much 50/50 on the spread and o/u. Clue: this one for me will probably go to right up to game time.

2012 1st Half Stats: The Bucs are avg'ing 15.5 pts on away games, while the Vikings are getting 12.8 at home.TB's def OPP RUSH is rated in the top 3 in the league, so Minn will probably look to QB Ponder to pass more given TB's lousy OPP PASS def. The Bucs offense can handle their own against most any team.

According to ESPN, "the Cardinals are holding opponents to averages of 16.9 points and 312.1 yards to rank fourth and seventh, respectively." This is a reference to full game pts, so I still expect this to be a close game at halftime. ARI is actually 2 pts better than SF in 1st half scoring (ARI home/SF away).
