Totally different situation though, first meeting was season opener and Bradford's first NFL game. Nobody thought Rams would be this good so soon, and I am talking over entire season, not just one game so it not an overreaction as you are implying. Most importantly of all, the Cardinals have quit on Wizzy.
St. Louis @ Arizona (+3)

#40It is incredible to me that the masses jump on teams just in time to lose.
If the number is good enough for the house , why isn't it good enough for you?
If one team is 8-3 ATS and another is 3-8 ATS do you really think you are playing with a line that gives you an edge?
Arizona was -3 @ St. Louis and now +3 1/2 at home in the division.
Does not matter who wins THIS particular game, but overall, this backwards way of thinking will generate losses on a regular basis.
No team is as good or bad as they looked at there best or worst.
Remember Jacksonville on Monday night at home to Tennessee about a month ago?
How has fading Jack. worked out?
A new strategy is desperately needed if road favs are viewed as solid plays.
Guys, this is not IMO but an absolute.
This way of thinking is a train wreck waiting to happen.
Hope this helps.Comment -

#446-10 record takes this division so a huge game for both teams, expect between 5-9 turnovers should be great comedy.sbrComment -

#49LT,
Been here long enough to know that indeed you do get it.
Also want to make it clear that I was trying to point out that games like this, that most younger players gravitate towards, in the long run, eat you alive.
IMO the line opened forward from where it should have been. Here is why.
Home field in the NFL is a solid 3 and in reality 3 1/2.What this line suggests is that on a neutral field St. Louis would be -3 1/2 +the 3 1/2 they are laying. That puts it at -7.
4 weeks ago S.F. was -4 1/2 vs. St. Louis.That equates to -1 on a neutral.
Last week S.F.opened -1 and went to -2 @Ariz. That equates to -4 1/2 up to -5 1/2 on a neutral.
If things stayed the same in 4 weeks with no line reaction this game should be St. Louis @ pick to -1 or 1 1/2 depending on opening vs. closing lines.
At -3 1/2 with a real chance of the public driving this to -4 it shows that the line has been adjusted , as it should have been. What makes it double trouble is it grabs the #3.Further , laying the hook on the 3 is death valley, as you well know.
When I go in to detail like this , it is never to call someone out or argue , but to try and help anyone that is seeking a better understanding of something I have put lots of time into over the years. The only way I learned was by losing or someone explaining a theory and watching it work or not. While you do understand this, many here do not.
Also, favs are just not my style . I do not play more than a couple each year.I am a dog guy, but that is just me.
Lastly, anyone on this team has quit on Wizzy and Grimm should be cut immediately. Those two have forgotten more about the game then most of the players will ever know.Hope that is not the case but Monday was seriously ugly. The tape never lies.
Anyway, just wanted to clear the air.
Best of luckComment -

#51this whole thread is ridiculous so i will add more to the ridiculousness:
though the lions have calvin johnson at qb who has a 145.21 Qb Rating I think the Rams win against them this week because of the return of Marhsall Faulk. I mean the guy is really starting to hit his stride again. Between the return of Marshall Faulk and Isaac Bruce the Rams take down the Lions.Comment -
