This is the part where I explain the importance of having a BR and proper money management.

For guy with the 2.5 spread comment, I placed that bet 4:05 p.m. EST. If you aren't beating the Closing Number, you are fukked long term. Miami play calling was terrible and losing Marshall didn't hurt all.

Now I have to keep posting, but the bad part is when the losing turns to winning, as it will when you are a marathon bettor, the threads will only get 12 views and no responses.

Good news I went to bed early and now I am going to the gym.

I had a thread for the entire baseball season find it...let me know how I did... I also had a basketball thread before find it let me know how I did...but this thread had nothing to do with me...its all about this guy acting like a stroke and constantly losing... I think this is ten losers posted in a row while bragging and challenging everyone to come back after the game to see how his picks and live bets do...

I think part of the problem here is gamblers of the same ilk as G really don't get it.

I have lost 10 consecutive wagers 7 different times in my gambling career. I once lost 22 in a row and only broke that streak because I called my book and said give me $10 on every dog. True story. But here I am, in the game for 15+ years, haven't been bust in over 10+ years and grinding out profits and learning ways to improve everyday. I can't believe where I am now as far as knowledge compared to where I was 2 years ago. It truly is incredible.

When I have time I may go through all my posted plays on here cause it will be a winning record. But you have to understand that if I posted every thing I played it would reduce my edge long term.

Anyone saying they have never had a losing streak is a fukkin liar. So to go 3-10 means very little to me. If you don't understand beating the closing number, the value of even a half point or betting the smallest of edges to produce profit over 1,000s of bets then you should do your best to at least learn the reasoning behind it.

2 other things you should keep in mind is that this may not be the only forum I post on, and if my BTP is 22-14 when I am forced to play 4 games, which is sometimes too many, what is my record look like when I can be selective.

I can agree with that. there is no reason to follow me, I have no posted record, even though my NFL Blog picks were 7-2 last year. There is a complete lack of honest and accurate records kept by posters on this site.

Great advice Ace. Unless you can verify the record of a capper, there is no reason to follow. Regardless of how many disciples kiss his ass or how much he brags about himself. Until a guy hits 250 or more plays and proves he can hit 55% (which would be less than 1% of the entire SBR Forum) why waste your time and money?

I guarantee 99% of the people on this site would not hit 55% over 250 plays.

You are basing that on what? The market being inefficient combined with a distribution model based on the Closing Line and historical data?

Unless you can produce the exact number of points he moved his winning percentage by buying 3.5 points off of a 2.5 Closer, you cannot state equivically what the fair price should have been. I'm not even talking sub sets, just plain out 2.5 point lines in the NFL.

Another thing I humbly suggest is to stop taking the results of one game as evidence of anything. You are not going to prove any line efficient based on the result of the game. Imparitvie that you grasp that concept on at least a fundamental level.
