#72Hahahaa! Please let him go to the Lions. Calvin on one side. Randy on the other, and the entire nickle package squats and shits it pants in the middle of Ford Field.Comment -

#77This is a huge ploy by Randy and the Patriots to steal a draft pick.
Expect randy to be on the Patriots roster by next sunday...Comment -

#78Lot of injured WR out there. Someone may need to get some bodies in for a second half of the season run. An over-the-hill Randy Moss still gets double- or triple-covered. That can free up someone else, at a minimum.Comment -

#80How can you say Randy is a quitter? For at least an hour on Sunday you're double teamed underneath and over the top. I don't think people understand football. However, Jerry Rice was double-teamed a lot too. I guess there is always something that separates the greatest from the good.Comment -

#81pats could get him back after season as a free agent, but some team with a worse record is likely to claim him off waivers before pats get a chance to. team that picks him up is responsible for the remainder of this season's contract. if he doesn't get claimed on waivers vikes have to pay the remainder of his contract and he can sign with anyone.
chargers, chiefs, jax, skins, eagles, rams and bears are all possible teams to pick him up.Comment -

#82The Waiver Wire works like this:- Team A signs Player to a contract
- Player makes the roster and is on the team during the regular season
- Team A decides it no longer wants Player on its roster
- Team A terminates the players contract, releasing him from his duties
- Before Player becomes a free agent, he hits the Waiver Wire
- When his name goes on the waiver wire, every team in the NFL has the option to pick up the players original contract (the one Player originally signed with Team A)
- The Waiver Wire is like the NFL Draft in that teams with the worst records get first crack at the players who have been released
- Once a team passes on the player then they cannot go back and claim him
- If no team signs the player, then he becomes an unrestrictd free agent

#89I guess it's easier to blame Moss then to put blame for Viking's problems where it goes . . . on Favre and Childress.
Im pretty sure he would be welcome back in New England. Brady throwing to Moss/Branch/Welker; who needs a running game? Sweet dreams, all you Patriots haters . . .Comment -

#90No I do not think so. If they pick up his contract he is on that team, but I am sure the team would have a converation with him before committing 3.5 million (his prorated salary).Comment -

#93Bills get the first crack at Moss on waivers since they have the worst record.....Patriots are last in the waiver line coz they have the best record in NFL now. 30 teams ahead of patriots get a shot to pick up moss....no way all of those 30 teams pass up on moss.
Besides that, I dont think the patriots want moss and his drama back in new england. They are a better team now without moss..as in they distribute the ball more and run the ball more....they are a better overall team without moss. With moss, its just me, me, me all the time and offense becomes one-dimensional. I don't think patriots want moss back...no fuking way.Comment -

Bellichick let him go a few weeks ago. Pats have been doing fine without Randy. Why would this coach suddenly change his mind?Comment -
