I took the Bears on the special line of +5.5 -120 and also some on the ML for some points, while at my book I took the ML only. I believe if you like a dog, it's worth it to take a look at the ML wager as well, cuz as I've said before most of the time if a dog covers the spread, they also win the game. Just like tonight Just somethin to look out for.

SP, lets talk some early week leans. The STL Lambs come into week 4 with their first home win in 12 games! Stephen Jackson is doubtful and STL just picked up someone off the Skins practice squad to back up the terrible Ken Darby at RB.

Meanwhile, SEA has a solid home win over the helpless September Chargers and come into STL this week as one of the early surprises around the league.

Can you see a reason not to bet SEA -1 large? With the Jackson injury, I only see the juice getting thicker Seattle's way, what are your thoughts?

I have read a few times about an article that basically says if you start with a roll of $10K, bet 5 percent on each wager, wager 200 times a year and win 55 percent of your bets, you would earn a nice living after 4-6 years. Your thoughts on this often quoted statement.
Thanks for getting rid of the bashers, and I would appreciate some thread interaction on this story.

If the five percent is recalculated to reflect current bankroll, then I have no clue how to show that since how many picks you win or lose in a row would play a factor. Eh, what do i know.
