Good input, I know he has two different so yes common sense would say the better sport has more funds. Still wondering why the unit went from 2 to 5, maybe there will be lesser plays, say two 5u plays instead of five 2u plays..

Actually, this is a great question. Since I keep bankroll, I'd love to know how the calibrate my bets properly.

SP, can you share some insight on this. Is a 5u college play really 2.5x the amount risked of a 2u NFL play?

I have a question SP: since NCAA is your best sport, why bet same size now for NFL (5u) instead of original 2 units? Just curious since I bet the same % and units you do for this season, witch gave me a great +9.32 units last night btw! ..

I guess, as SP said b4, he uses different bankrolls for his sports. So one would assume he has a bigger bankroll for ncaaf than nfl. 5units ncaaf are more than 5 units in nfl.

JVP/Solid: 5 units in the NFL is equal to about 2.5 units as compared to my College roll. My NCAAF roll is twice the size of my NFL roll and I am sorry for not mentioning that.

So if 5units is equal to 2.5 college units why not just make it 2.5 units lol... You're flat betting anyway so why do units even matter at all when you flat bet. The whole reason for having units is when you adjust your bet size game by game...

Welcome to my NFL week #4 thread. Sunday was very good to us posting a record of 3-0, +9 units. Until such time that I post my plays please feel free to discuss this weeks games with me and everyone else as thats why we are all here, right? We all are aware that recently my threads have been attacked by some that have a personal agenda so I have decided to make a few changes and those changes are included in my "Thread Rules" below.

"Thread Rules"

1. All NFL plays will be posted in this thread and they will be posted on my spreadsheet.

2. All NFL plays are wagered and posted for 2.5 units each, no more and no less. I will not post any leans.

3. All of my plays will be posted near the end of the week, probably no later than Saturday night but could possible be early Sunday morning.

4. All lines posted with my plays will be lines from 5Dimes sportsbook only so there is no confusion regarding the line that I post with my plays.

5. My signature season to date record and my spreadsheet record has been cleared/reset to satisfy a few gentlemen who have decided that it was not accurate. This will eliminate any confusion regarding my record but for those who have tailed me this season understand that the record that will be cleared was currently at a 64% win rate with over 30 units on the plus side. Keep in mind I also eliminated my record today, Sunday which was 3-0 +9 units.

6. Please keep the thread positive. I invite all positive comments and/or suggestions.

7. For obvious reasons I have decided to put some people on my "Ignore" List" and I am sure you know who you are. I will not post the names of people on my ignore list because I decided thats not the appropriate thing to do and I am better than that but I am sure everyone understands who those people are. I dont expect everyone to agree with me with everything I post but I do expect all comments to be respectable. Others will be added to my ignore list as they earn that right based on their comments as I just choose not to read or respond to the certain few people who post immature, argumentative comments. I encourage everyone that is here for the right reasons to utilize the "Ignore" feature when needed to block out the few that are here just to stir the pot.

8. I will respond to everyone that has a question or comment. If you are not responded to I either overlooked your post or you are being ignored based on your immature behavior.

9. If you would like my opinion on any of my plays or any other game on the schedule please ask and I would be more than willing to give you my best opinion.

nah that wont work out, because SP uses too different rolls and everybody should do that too, since he said 2 different rolls... now if he says 2.5 units... what is it ?... example: nfl roll is 500 ncaaf is 1000... 1 unit is 2.5% of the roll... now for nfl that would be 12.5 to win... for ncaaf 25... now if you add the units up...you dont get your true value that easy...

Now that makes it tough... 2.5 units could be 6.25% of the ncaa roll...now for the ones that keep seperate rolls and also used your twice ncaaf and 1 nfl... it is very confusing... guess this post is confusing... now with the units it is too... because we all here are used to 5 unit play being the highest plays in the sports... for each bankroll we calc the unit amount... also to keep one whole bankroll makes no sense...

Why shouldnt have the Jets won. They had the lead in 80% of the game.
