Hope I didn't worry some of you. I've been disconnected from the ol' internet and I've been moving around in Chicago so I had my boys in Vegas run our plays. I'll have NCAA plays posted in a second. There is a play tonight.

Thoughts: A short word about record keeping...For the purpose of keeping records on our selections. We have been challenged via email, that the line given by us was not available or later changed. The lines we report, are the numbers on Pinnaclesports.com at the time we send out the selections. To be fair, we can only use the closing lines for Pinnaclesports.com no matter if the line goes up or down. For record keeping we have been using Pinnacle for years, as they are the biggest, and reflect the most accurate average closing lines across the country. Remember, so much goes into what number you are playing. For example if you live in Dallas... the line on the Cowboys will most likely be shaded toward the home team and you will get the worst of it. We can't make everyone happy with the line posted early in the week, when things are moving, so must live or die with the closing line like everyone else. (Sometimes this costs us wins on the record, other times we pick up a win).

Bottom line to the complainers and whiners....It is up to you to find the best number in your particular situation. Someone suggested last week that we should be held to playing the number we post when the selections are released. That is no problem for us...we can easily send out the selections 5 minutes before kick-off if that will make everyone happy. That way we can stick to the closing Pinnacle line every time and there will be no more questions.

Again, here is a little tip, if we are giving points...give the least amount you can...If we are getting points...get as many as you can.

Sorry for the RANT, but we would love to hear your thoughts on changing our method to sending out selections at minus five minutes before kick-off so we can eliminate anymore hate e-mails.

Sorry guys. I'm doing things a little more quickly...things are hectic now, but I work with a team that has my back. We did our error checking.

Two NCAAF plays that came very close were

Florida International
and
Miami Florida

for -9 and -8

Another system I like rates those two as top plays, but I'm not putting them into the mix as they may conflict with the overall process; however, if you don't follow our plays to the tee....rather, you look to our writings as a tool for your own capping....there are two more games for you to consider.

Are you saying that we if we have an option to take a line anywhere from -17.5 to -2 (my options for Iowa/Indiana), we should take -2, even though the odds go from -110 for -17.5 to -1700 for -2? Just getting some clarification on exactly how many points is too much to get/give, etc.

Buy the line within reason of what you feel you find value and feel comfortable with... If you feel you want to pay -1700 for -2, go for it...

Most of the line jumps are within a point, but typically I would think once you are buying to all the way to -130 or -140 you are now starting to really lose value... Of course that depends on the number...

So in short... use common sense / It depends...
