What's to like about trying to cap this game with QB Burris taking limited snaps and wonderboy Backup Drew Tate in... Well the first Q for starters... If the Stamps do ANYTHING in this game, it will likely be when all the starters try and do what the Eskimos didn't last week and ATTACK Win QB Joey Elliott... I think 0.5 may be a small gift to be given to us based on that fact alone... Elliott did NOTHING last week except throw dump passes all night and hand the ball of to RB Reid...
Winnipeg D Line is nasty and wants to Hit Burris every chance they get, and I think this is another reason why the play calling will be limited if he starts getting hit...
I think this whole game reeks Under, and the sooner (After the 1Q of course) Drew tate comes in the better... You saw what Winnipeg did last week to Edmonton.. Their Defense is still playing with alot of pride... Wouldn't be surprised at all if THEY are the ones that win the game by themselves...

Notice how Pinny is holding the line for winnipeg at -130 for the +0.5 .. they absolutely don't want to give it a pickem... I just reduced the 1Q bet to a half unit... Pinny is one of the sharpest lines in the biz and I don't want to get burnt too much here... Yet I don't want to pay the juice on the tie either... In the 1Q that Pickem is a deadly thing... although I think there is clear value to play small on the +118...Comment -

Well I hope you get it Dharm, but I don't think that play has much value from a capping perspective.. I at least know that Burris is going to start the game... play a few series... A full game play here now is putting faith in the Backups, who may/may not do well...

Its hard for me to see ANYTHING other then the obvious in this game... Which is BC is going to Pounce on Hamilton... Hamilton coaching staff seems to be saying the right things... But they definitely don't seem to be acting on it... In fact, last night, they didn't even go through the day before walk through... They chose to have team meetings instead...
Ham Coach Bellefeuille basically has WR Arlond Bruce III is a game time decision despite the hamstring... Which may be true, but when you are playing in 7 days and have a nothing game int he midddle, do you really think, even if he plays, it will be significant... Maybe a couple of reps for conditioning, but comon...
Not to mention, but let's talk about Hamilton Backup QB Quinton Porter out of Boston College who has thrown just 21 passes this year...Although, the only hope there is that he has significant CFL experience, last year he threw 167 completions of 261 pass attempts (64%) ... in his 3 years in the CFL he has thrown 17 TD's to 14 INTs... So if you're looking for ANY hope that Hamilton may stay competitive... At least he's not making his first CFL start...
I was reading that the game could have some messed up weather, but looking at the forecast, 4 Deg (C), 37 Deg (F) but no rain in sight... Just chilly with a slight wind... Nothing that should play a factor at any rate...
Another telling factor is that Edmonton, who needs to win AFTER BC wins... Has alredy declared banged up QB Ricky Ray will Start... Of course they tell you that his playing time will depend on how BC does... But we know... He will be playing for the Eskimo Season is what it will come down to... Conspiracy Theory also says that if Hamilton plays tough, and even wins... WHO will watch the Eskimos Later on in the day... It all adds up as far as I'm concerned...
I think the play, Eskimo fan or not, is BC -4 ... We have to be nuts to not think they are going to win this game by at LEAST that much... Sure Hamilton doesn't want to get blown out 2 straight games... But they really don't care.. and will Play that way....
