Better QB: Tom Brady or Peyton Manning?

I say that this is a tough one.Tom Brady is Mr. cool.He comes through big in important moments although the loss for the perfect season in the Super Bowl took a notch off of his belt.He's a winner.Peyton is like a coach on the field.Amassing huge number on the stat sheet,very charismatic and comes from good stock.He's blown a few opportunities and only has 1 Super Bowl---

My answer:It's even but because Brady has been more clutch---I give Tom Brady a slight edge over Peyton Manning.

I believe Peyton is the better QB, I personally think he is the best QB to ever play the game. Don't take anything away from Brady though, he is a hell of a leader and quarterback.

Usually the overall team effects your wins in the playoffs, not just quarterback.

Peyton Manning is the better quarterback.

But if you were to compare Manning to Farve, Rogers, Rivers and Brees. This would be more difficult to compare.

Manning has been too awful in the playoffs for me to say he's better than Brady. Even the year he won the SB he had a 3/7 TD/INT ratio in the playoffs. Colts defense won that championship for Peyton.

Interceptions are effected by the Quarterback, Wide Reciever, Cornerback and Safety.

Whenever a wide reciever messes up catching the ball, it can get intercepted.

It depends how good your wide reciever or tight end is. Tom Brady and Wes Welker are epic.

Brady & Manning are both bums. Both have a lower passer rating in the postseason than the regular season by 8 points. Compare that to a hack like Kurt Warner who has a passer rating 9 points higher in the playoffs versus the regular season. Even Favre keeps a steady rating from regular season into the playoffs. Brady & Manning are regular season heros and playoff bums when it comes to passing output.

Ok this is the mindset of the average NFL fan. We see Peyton winning the last few years better than Brady. So of course everybody is going to hop on his bandwagon, I can even bet there are people who believe Drew Brees is a better QB than Brady. To a point you can argue that fact because of his height and the obstacles he has had to overcome to be successful in this league and win a Super Bowl. But here lies the problem with the average NFL fans, they have a block of the past and can only remember the near past. I am a Patriot hater and an Eagles fan so there is no bias, Tom Brady is the better QB, if I had to choose any QB to lead my team from a deficit in the 4th quarter it would be Brady. Even more importantly I would choose no other QB to be under center in a Super Bowl then him as well. The guy won Super Bowl after Super Bowl even without stars on both sides of the ball, because the guy knows how to win, and that has to be the most important trait in a QB.

A QB who throws 50 TD passes throwing only 'Flat Routes' would have to have had the best YAC receiving corps in the history of the NFL.
