Lets look at the Week 16 game! The Jets got a KO return TD and was still down by 5 against a Colts team that sat 3-4 defensive starters and Pierre Garcon (only real deep speed)! I respect the hell out of what the Jets are doing but this is a passing league and the NFL wants to keep it that way! I think you'll see atleast 1-2 defensive holding calls on Rivas and atleast 1 pass interference that results in a big gain for Indy! 24-13 Indy!!
Jets did not win it, Chargers lost it, Colts gona beat up Jets

#37Originally posted by LT ProfitsI thought you were referring specifically to last week's game, and the Ravens were terrible. It is very easy for any offense to play better than the Baltimore offense did last week.
I'm saying that the Ravens were a very good defense too, and that the Ravens were a bit more capable offensively than the Jets were this season. look what the Colts did to them
you have to go with the hottest team. Right now the Colts are HOT on offense and HOT on defense...really HOT on defense.
where are the jets gonna score points? I think the Jets gravy train might be overComment -

Yes, you are talking about 23-0 in 1984, but weren't the Niners fairly large favorites in that game? Result wasn't too surprising.Comment -

#40Speaking of red-hot longshots...how bout the 95 Colts w/Harbaugh! Went on just as an unlikely run as this Jets team...in fact they won in KC off of a missed FG too! This Colts team is just too professional and too experienced to overlook the Jets!Comment -

But what makes this Jets team different than other Cinderellas is that the Jets led the NFL in defense, which actually SHOULD remove the Cinderella tag. People are just too enamored with flashy offenses, and when a team that plays good old fashioned football like the Jets has any success, they consider it surpising.Comment -

#48ravens 2000 and jets defense 2009 overall was about the same in yards. Ravens were better at shutting down the run, jets better shutting down the pass. I think they are better served in this years playoffs shutting down the passComment -

#53Originally posted by The GeneralLT, I think the overlooked factor here is that Indy's defense is pretty good itself. That is overlooked and Indy doesn't or hasn't given up Big plays this season at all. The Colt defense is very good and then you have a great QB and offense to to top that. No one knows what will happpen in an NFL game, but the Colts are pretty solid in all aspects so far this season.Comment -

#54Originally posted by LT ProfitsNo doubt, I do have high regard to Colts defense. But at the same time, I would not be surprised if Jets held Colts to around 20 points here. In what is expected to be a low scoring game, I think getting more than a touchdown has value.

Ravens won how many games that year 12 or 13. Lights out in the playoffs, 0 offensive TDs in 3 games including Super Bowl.
Jets a nice little team that is going to be overmatched by best QB in history of NFL

#65people, the jets were 7-7 and their HC even said "we need too much help to make the playoffs" or something like that
they needed the colts to take out all their starters w/5 mins left to go in the 3rd quarter in a 15-10 colts lead gm and then the next wk cincy had absolutely nothin to play for and laid down
re-fukking-lax everyone, the jets are done this sunday, the slipper will break and the jets will turn into what they really are, nothing
(they played in what turned out to be only an okay division w/pats, bills, dolphins). the jets are not shitComment -

#66all that matters for those that play the spread. Is that the Jets were able to stay within 8 points in 16 out of 18 games. 1 of the games they lost by more than 8, as NO, a very talented team.
that team scored 1 offensive TD and had 2 miraculous Defensive TD's to help cover that #. whine, bitch, moan all you want about the past. but if you are serious about capping Sunday's game.
tell me how many games the Colts won by 4 or less, and tell me how many games the Jets lost by 8 or more. before you say anything else, just start your post with those two numbersComment -
