I think it's just local lottery bias. Most people in the GTA support the Bills followed by Lions or Steelers. A good chunk like GB/DAL, but yeah, Bills by far. Hell we're such sickos we drive to Buffalo to watch em lose (2-3hours depending where you are).

Strange year when ya see bills and lambs as 2 of the higher picked teams in pools this week!! Speaks to how bad everyone expects Indy and jets to be cause imo it takes stones picking crappy teams week 1 even if they are facing even more crappy of a team.

One problem with the OLG "factor" odds are actually reduced by 1 so a 4 teamer is only 9-1. $10 x 10 factor = $100 payout. Vegas be giving you 12-1 AND your wager back =$130 in hand. Proline be shit except for tie ( withing 3) odds being atleast 2-1 or $3.00

Ive tried numerous places to cash small tickets under $500, same old story, " come back later we dont have the cash, we only gots $50 in the til". These penetrating stores can take the cash in but dont want to pay out CASH. OLG need to offer an instant cheque print out of the machine. Atleast I can deposit it and get the cash.

My local is usually good for under $500 4/5 times. Under $1000 7/10ish. Right in my neighbourhood though, well managed store. If he doesn't have funds he's likely paid out others. To be honest though when I hit a good $500-700+ I treat myself to a poker game at one of the casinos.

I like the instant cheque idea though, makes perfect sense. I believe you can play online now though; assuming that means you'd have an account with a balance? Might be easier for you to cash-out like that. I'm waiting for the day I hit over $5,000 so I'm forced to go to the prize-centre downtown lol.

The casinos out my way Belleville and Gananoque are Shorelines casinos, not sure if they still honour the max $1000 payout or not. Does OLG even operate casinos anymore?

They operate the majority I believe, but they tend to be the worse ones. Casino Rama/Great Blue Heron are most people's favourite in the GTA other than Niagara's of course. Really max $1000? I thought most casinos are $5,000 max, a nice medium between your local stores and the prize-centre downtown.

We can only hope it all changes one day. I mean last year we finally got NBA! Correct me if I'm wrong but I was told it had to do with operating a franchise in the province or somesh1t (Raptors). Nearly 25 years of bs. Seems they finally wised up. Casinos in Canada should be allowed to have proper sportsbooks not these quasi-books in Niagara (although a tad better than proline).
