How do you beat Manning? Get pressure on him. Who has the talent to get pressure? Seattle, not only because of the D-line, but because they can cover MAN ON MAN. That's how you get pressure and it's what I'm betting on ... Manning being disrupted in ways that he hasn't seen this year. Cold weather, not the arm he used to have. Sure, he's got the experience and the smarts, but I keep coming back to the fact that teams like New England and San Diego don't hold a candle to the top teams in the NFC. Denver hasn't seen a D like this. More importantly, Wilson does not have to play all that well, and he's only going to be aided by Lynch and that O-line that will keep pounding. Denver did not eclipse their total points line in the last 2 games at 1H or total game. Yes, they did control the ball, but against what personnel? Even Talib was out for roughly 3/4 of the game in the AFC Championship.

Give me the best overall TEAM, give me the best D, give me a power runner and give me the cold weather.

        It all points to Seattle.

        Seattle +3.5, 10 units (-160)

        Seattle ML +115, 6 units

        Seattle/Denver UNDER 47.5, 4 units (-120)

Looking at a quarterback who gets rid of the ball before the pass rush gets there and not enough cover corners to match up with all of Denver's WR weapons MAN ON MAN. Also, Denver didn't go over their team total precisely for the reasons stated, because they controlled the ball, and, why would you wear out your defense? I hear you loud and clear, that is one cold defense, and, if they pull this off if will certainly be the defenses legacy(ie steelers70s, giants/bears 80s, skip 90s, ravens/bucs '00s, Seattle '10s???). But they still have a lot of questions to answer...with that being said, I like your +3.5 cover, especially with the late line movement to seattle. I'd say there is a 50/50 odds the ML hits, bounce of the ball type shit.

What do you think of just going all in on a teaser of Seattle +9.5 and under 52. If SD and NE couldn't score points on Denver, I don't see why would seattle. And, outside of Denver blowing out Seattle, which it seems your sure of, why not take the insurance on a surer bet?

I'm on the teaser as well.

Two points to address in response, too, trobin31:

SD and NE couldn't score on Denver because neither has that many weapons; more importantly, they didn't have a defense that could get off the field. Now, I'm sure you'll say, "They have more weapons than Seattle!". I would respond, "Neither can run the ball as well as Seattle can nor can they do what it takes to keep Manning off and their run game on. Being at home was critical for Denver, and now they are not at home. New England was BAD on the road not beating anyone this year, except a Baltimore (non playoff team) win big late. San Diego being the 2nd or third best in the AFC is a joke compared to what Seattle has already played and beat."

In my opinion, Seattle has the perfect offense to complement their defense, and (most importantly) it will be enough.

All valid points. This will be the best team Denver plays all year, I agree. Glad you agree with the teaser, I'm on that, just worried they both may score more than expected. GL with your bets!
