I actually love Carolina tomorrow. Both defenses are great, but I'll take the rested team with the better QB. SF has a little more talent on offense... Boldin and Davis are beasts. That's the only thing that worries me. Gore is starting to decline I think.

youre forgetting crabtree - he wasnt there in the 10-9 loss, and now is rolling. he is their WR1 and actually the main reason i am on SF. that offense is complete again.

It's purely subjective on my part... There are no real facts to back it up. But I believe Newton is better than Kaep. As for other reasons I like Carolina: rested team, at home... and a strong gut feeling.

After the 2nd down throw, I thought, what's the difference between 17-0 and 21-0? Nothing, really, except the downside (which happened). Why not go up 3 scores ... all the MORE since you get the ball to start the 2nd half? That's just idiotic, weird, greed.
