Is this worth playing double, in your mind, mcduggly? I'm using it as a system play, but I also have a separate, big open parlay going with a few legs left to fill. I'm not in a huge hurry, and am willing to take time to close it out, and I only need 4 this weekend. I don't mind playing higher vig lines (had a -110 and a +105 early, so payout is acceptable even if I close out with -500s), but -300 would be sweeter. Hate to get buried on both with a single play, though.

I guess I'm asking, perhaps more from just a smart/patient approach, if I should mix and match so I don't lose both in one game. Or, if there are stronger plays coming up?

I'm new to the open parlay system, so I'm trying to be smart about it.

I don't know if this play is worth 2 spots, especially if they are critical ones to close out a parlay or two.

Well dude, he has already successfully done it once out of 3 tries. So he has grossed $700 and thats not including the roughly $150 he has made on this attempt.... Just sayin'

3 attempts is the complete opposite of long-term. Winning 3/3 means nothing. A system is proven -- or disproven -- after thousands of bets and years of testing, not three attempts and a few weeks.

I disagree and will say that there is definitely money to be made with this system. No I have not heard of people consistently hitting 12+ team parlays because nobody ever does them, and when they do, they don't just stick with -350 favorites. They throw in a chunk of underdogs and standard -110 lines to increase the payout.

And it's only an "all-in approach" for each individual attempt. So the first attempt I did, we banked a little under $1,100. We lost attempt number 2, but we were still up $1,000. We would have to lose 11 attempts in order to lose money, and that's not going to happen.

I wish you the best of luck, the long-term, I would be shocked if this proved to be profitable. It doesn't matter that you're only doing large favorites. This large favorites one almost every time, everybody would just bet them in the books would get killed. The reason people lose long-term on 12 team parlays is not because they are tossing in risky underdogs, it's because it's a strategy that is almost impossible to win at long-term. That's really all there is to it. In order for this to work long-term, you must win in streaks. That's as completely unrealistic expectation.

The most important factor to being profitable long-term is proper money-management, and the strategy unfortunately utilizes very poor money management. I'm not trying to bash you or anything, I'm just trying to give you some advice based on experience.

Like I said, I wish you the best of luck, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high on this strategy.
