I just use coinbase as an exchange that I send bitcoin from my blockchain bitcoin wallet to in order to withdraw to my bank account. It probably isn't the best way to do it anymore but I find it very easy to do and that's enough for me because I just want to be able to get my money in my wallet when I want to withdraw or when I want to send bitcoin to my blockchain wallet in order to deposit without hassle into my sportsbooks.

None of the US regulated exchanges are supposed to enable gambling usage but most are not as pro-active as Cashapp in trying to prevent it.

As Jrgum3 says above, when sending to or from your new exchange account, not directly connecting to a bookmaker wallet and their wallet is the suggested way to stay within their terms and keep the account. Not that it always works but is a sensible thing to do.

Yes. You just get a public receive address from the wallet to give the book. Same as a hot wallet.

Years back... you could easily get a BTC PO... and there were ways to change it to USD without direct reporting to... you know who. Now the only benefit for BTC PO is to shift funds from book to book. If you are constantly selling off the BTC back to your currency... it's not worth it to you in the long run especially at tax time.

I think your most reliable options is coinbase. It is one of the most recognised crypto exchanges out there that also can be used as a wallet.

There are several reliable options for sending and receiving Bitcoin without the risk of being banned. Popular wallets include Ledger, Trezor, and Exodus. As for apps, Coinbase and BlockFi are reputable choices. Remember to comply with the platform's terms of service to ensure a smooth experience. Researching and understanding the specific rules of each platform is essential to avoid any unexpected issues.

I don't like cashapp for deposits, last time they blocked my account. I think is because of too many transactions from different users to one account.I was just a sender. The 2 sportsbooks I deal with right now, both offer good promos on crypto.

It's because Bitcoin is an open ledger - not 100% private. Anyone with the time and resources can figure out where the money goes - who the sender and receiver are. If you use an exchange like Coinbase, your Coinbase wallet address is tied to your account.

There are a ways to obfuscate, though - always use a new address for a Receive, use a wallet with built-in Coinjoin (Trezor) for a Send, etc..
