As Mia Wallace once said, "You can get a steak here, Daddio. Don't be a square."
Missouri square as they come tonight.

live 20 minutes from norman.. go to many games and KNOW OU basketball ... please believe me when i say DO NOT think for one second they can win tonight and I give them a 10% chance of covering.. Home Court is irrelevant at LLoyd Noble Center. All we care about here is Thunder Ball. ThunderUp! Last time... Mizzou ML HUUUUGE!!!

Same here. I graduated from OU and when we had Elite 8 teams we still struggled to pack the place.
I think our coach has the team headed in the right direction and the future could be bright but I seriously doubt we stay close tonight.

More like 70% since some people will take OU based the line and the fact that it's a road game.

If you show me those public betting numbers and show me the team at home is getting 5.5 (the ultimate trap number) I wouldnt even have to look at who's playing, Id take the home team.

Hence why OU will get at least 30% of the bets.

I also like the over. OU might keep it close for a half but Mizzou will pull away at the end.
I see a score of something like 79-68.

Let's just watch the game and see what happens. Mizzou can win by 35 tonight or lose outright. No need to discuss it any more. BOL to all.

No it is the total opposite going back through the years. And I already told you why. Why do you think on only see crazy stuff like -146 overnight?
All I know is that when plays are being juiced like crazy overnight like that, the other side is a cash cow -- not the juiced side.
I remember the crown jewel was Kansas State at home last season. Kansas went to -3.5 (-160) overnight at Pinny. They were stomped the next day.
Why would you want to be on the side of heavy juice?

K-State was an easy play that night. I had them at like three different lines. Lol.

That's a huge sample to base an argument on. Do you have any data to back it up or are you basing it on observation alone?

I'm glad FourLengths is here to point out a flaw in everyone. Thanks Dad!

Not really a huge sample. You don't see the juice climb that high very often at Pinny. This one (the Mizzou-Oklahoma total) never did reach the -140 mark, though, which is kind of the threshold I'm looking for (i.e., Missouri State and Wisconsin Milwaukee on Saturday).
It's not perfect by any means, but if you play against sides that are juiced that high on a regular basis overnight at Pinny, you'll win more often than you'll lose. Again, not sure if totals are the same, but I would assume so.

Why do you suppose they juiced the under as opposed to moving the line?
I appreciate it calls for speculation, just wondering what your thoughts are.

To collect more juice? Seems pretty simple to me.
They move the line eventually -- just delay it if they're confident on a side and bets are going in the other direction. They'll push the juice overnight to -140, -145, -150 and even more than that.
