Track meet. Tar Heels rank 4th in the country with 77 possessions per game. Texas gets about 71. Both teams with solid effective FG %s, which means they do the most with their possessions. Heels have put up 90+ in three of their last four and Texas' road/neutral site D has been leakier than at home. Horns figure to have trouble up front against the length and versatility of UNC. UT will need big games from Brown and Kabongo. That backcourt combo has the ability to put up plenty of points and get to the line. I don't think tempo is a problem here as UT has shown no issues with speeding up to accompany their opposition when the situation presents itself.

Loyola Md-Kentucky Over 139.5 [-110]
Even thought Kentucky's defense has been stifling and the under has been a good bet with the Wildcats, this number is tough to go under IMO. Kentucky has hit 80+ points in six of their seven home games, so that leaves likely only about 60 points to play with or less to hit an under here. Kentucky is allowing just 59 ppg, while Loyola averages 69 ppg. Certainly the Greyhounds have not faced a team as tough as UK, but tempo-wise they should match Kentucky if the Cats choose to run a bit. Kentucky averages around 72 possessions per game, but is very efficient shooting 49% [#13 in D1] from the floor and 37% from three to average better than a point per possession. If Kentucky hits around their average of 82, I look for this OVER to get done.

They are 0-3 ATS on the road with defense being the main issue. Boise allows 51% shooting on the road. Iowa is scoring 82 ppg on their home court on 45% shooting and are rock solid on the line @ 76%. Boise has lost by 17, 19 & 10 on the road while Iowa is 3-1 ATS at home.
