TCU travels to USC. The Horned Frogs have been a little surprising to me at 7-4. TCU is not loaded with talent, but they have played hard in most games and not been blown out as a result. Hank Thorns has to be the straw that stirs the drink for TCU. He is their leading scorer and assist man, probably better suited to dishing out the assists as his shooting % is poor. USC as usual is solid on defense, but extremely challenged offensively. The Trojans average just 54 ppg on 41% shooting. USC doesn't particularly board well either, having come up minus in seven of their last ten [3-7]. USC is also 0-5 ATS at home. TCU is 3-2 ATS on the road and have covered three of the four lines where they've been listed as dogs this season.

Yeah bottom line is the formula used can point us in the right direction, but there's still the human/referee element. Clippers-Lakers over did hit, so at least something finished alright.

Whether Sullinger plays or not, the under is where I favor this one. It looks like he will play. Lamar would love to get into a run 'n shoot game here that would favor their athletes. I don't think Ohio State will want to do that much of that. The Buckeyes are much more of a half court set type of squad that will break opponents down with superior efficiency. Louisville had the blue print on this club early in the year, beating them 68-48 with stifling defense. Ohio State should look to do the same and will get theirs offensively, but if they contain tempo here - I think this one slips in with a total in high 130s or low 140s, under the number.

I use a formula that is spelled out several pages earlier in this thread. Have to actually do the math with the half time stats. Warriors-Kings Under 104 for tracking purposes. The Nuggets-Suns one hit with ease.

Okay night altogether. Got boned on that one 2nd half pick that should have at worst, pushed. Was tougher to find an edge tonight on some of these so I skipped plenty of games. Ohio State under at least hit easy. We'll see if this NBA one hits or not. If it does, I'll probably start a 2nd half thread in the NBA forum. I don't like playing full games in NBA, love props and these 2nd halves could yield some decent stuff.
