They do hit at a pretty high rate in NBA without buying points. You'll lose your ass by not buying the 3 points in CBB. Cheme was keep track of the win/loss/unit count by not buying points in the NBA, and when he quit posting like 2 weeks, I think that buying the points give you an additional +30 units in profit. But keep tracking though, don't just take my word for it. I don't want any responsibility if somebody jumps on the plays without buying points and goes on a losing streak.

How do you mean halftime bets? We can't buy points on halftime bets, are you using pinny edges or are you basing your halftime bets on what the system would predict?

I mean dang, I know cheme says he has something for baseball too, so if we could figure out the football part, then we would have basketball, football, and HOPEFULLY baseball edge plays!!!!

I think that he means just taking the bet that the calculator says to bet, but just on the first half, without buying points.

With round robins, you would just pick all of the teams that you want to play, and it would make a parlay out of every single combination of those teams. I really hope that we can get something figured out for MLB, since we have about 4 more months of basketball.

Ok Chili thanks....so basically impper...just do the LOWEST teaser possible to CROSS the 3 OR 7? Or crossing BOTH? Don't know how to put it in the calc like you show....

And for MLB, the only thing I can think of that would work is totals.....I don't know how else you would use the calc for MLB??

Fricken Raptors lost for me...had a small edge but should have stuck with my minimum .75% edge filter...I just thought with the RLM it would win...

Largest edge I've seen was Kentucky +10 with 3.16% edge but that flew off the board the second I saw it. Chili, you posting 10 central time correct?

Alright, I ran CBB the first time about an hour ago, and I came up with:

I just ran it a second time, and I have:

CBB
Oakland +15 6.7u
Buffalo -2.5 2.7u
Western Kentucky -2.5 2.2u
Providence -3 2.3u
Murray State -2 3.3u
Massachusetts +5 3.8u
Central Michigan +14.5 3.7u

I bet all of these. I'm finished with running CBB for the day. I'll run NBA before I have to leave later this afternoon. For the NBA games tonight, I have bets in for:

NBA
Dallas -2 2.4u
Cleveland +11.5 5.5u

After nearly a week's worth of testing, I have come to a small conclusion. The #1 time slot to run the numbers is 10am CST. The 2nd best time is 11am CST. It gets worse from there, with results being mediocre at best. For NBA, I have the best success running the numbers about an hour before gametime, but it does well running the filtered NBA numbers at 10-11am CST as well. By filtered, I mean only run the pinny numbers that are -108+. When I run the NBA at night, I input all numbers.

So there, that's from my testing. A week's worth of data is not definitive, but I was shocked at the numbers, and seeing just how amazing the results were doing the numbers at 10am, and then again at 11am CST.

I have also been playing around with NHL totals using the calculator and you can get edges if you use PINNY as the book you go off, and you can get some edges by placing the bets at Matchbook....don't know if that would contradict each other tho??

Example....Pinny may have over 5.5 at -115 and under 5.5 at +105 and at Matchbook you could get the UNDER 5.5 at +110, which creates about a 1.1% edge in the calc....

What do you think impper and Chili...this is how I think Cheme did it for MLB too
