It won't work out. Rider + 4 falls into a 90% system play! Even in the NBA, that system works about 90% of the time. A team that's blownout on its home court gets the cover when they visit the team that blew them up. Take that to the bank.

Let me cite just one example in the NBA. The Celtics as a 8-point road favorite at the Nets, won by 24 points. In the reverse fixture, the Celtics were a 12.5 point home favorite. You'd think if they could beat the Nets on the road by 24 points, then a 12.5-point spread is nothing. But at home, the Celtics beat the Nets by only 10 points and failed to cover the spread. Such shit happens at about a 90% clip.

St. Peter beat Rider on the road by 11 points. Then you'd think they should easily cover a 4-point spread at home against Rider. Folks are likely to pound St. Peter all day and the line won't move or may move from 4 to 3.5.

They may win SU or lose by no more than 3 points. It's essentially a last possession game. If playing Rider at 3.5 points, don't bother buying points!
