Thanks Jake. I did a study on the Saturday before last and the results were abiut 50/50 so hopefully this is the time of the year when this principle is valid.
I think it will fail in the final days of the season for teams that have clinched a plauoff spot and are resting players. More scrutiny will be needed then to exclude those teams.

I know what you mean Mike but these all fit the criteria so I'm including them. Last Saturday's results had this many and was successful.
If this is not successful tonight at least the results will be present and I can do some study to find out if a subset should be excluded.

Ok, I did a study on totals by day of the week. They can have wildly different results. Some days can have lots of unders but the previous week can have mostly overs so I'm abandoning totals for this study. I know some people can nail totals but not me.
So far I'm going with the following 2. It seems home favorites have been doing well with this system.
South Carolina -6 over Georgia
Villanova -12 1/2 over St. John's
