Don't really care for any of the games the next 2 days. What do you guys think the line will be when Minny goes to USC? -5.5? If NM is -8.5 at home against them I wouldn't think it would be higher than that #. Also can't wait to see the lines in these games: Temple/Duke, Illini/Zags, Utah/BYU, Valpo/NM, San Fran/Pacific. Get a battle of the most overrated when UCLA plays Texas! If only it could be a most overrated tourney then we could throw in Kentucky and USC.

Loyola MD on Saturday should be a good play. Fading St. Peters after a huge win against Iona for them and Loyola losing to Niagara at home. Probably around -4.5 I am guessing. What's comp say on that one MrVJP?Comment -

The comps don't take into effect mindsets, emotions, traveling distance, extra events- just pure numbers. The guys who make the lines do take these into account but they don't usually deviate THAT much from it. However, FLA-FSU was spitting out -11.5 and some genius decided to make it -4. Same, in terms of power ratings, Ill is #19 and Gonzaga is #13 so 9 points is too large for my tastes. By calculations, it seems its largely due to Gonzaga home win margin over Ill true road win margin (1pt over Hawaii) and strength of schedule. Still think the peeps who set the lines will approach it like the Michigan-NCState game where the cpu's sent out a large number around -11 and I think they set it to -7.5 Mich.Comment -
