LTA, I know you don't have access to live lines at the moment, but for those of you that do, I have a question. Have you noticed that you can get a better number during the game than before the game a majority of the time. I've just started looking at the live lines recently and with how sharp the numbers have been with totals, it seems that a lull in scoring during a quarter(which always seems to happen) gives you a great number, i.e was able to get o194.5 late in the 1st quarter for this game(not that it mattered in this case).

Yeah, they always change with the flow of the game. Live lines can be lucrative and most folks can attest that they can be very dangerous as well.

I've noticed. I tend to try and bet lines like this...the only problem you'll ever run into with this is if the 1st quarter starts out strong against you one way or the other. There are so many changes of pace throughout most NBA games though, I've found that live betting can be very beneficial if you place the bets at the correct times.

Good call LTA. I was worried about this one for sure but knew we had a chance even going into the 4th quarter. We'd been sick about this one if we played the under but it's nice actually cheering for all that scoring for once rather than being pissed that they kept making their shots

Although I do not yet follow live lines, I have always believed that the sharpest cappers should be able to take advantage of these soft lines. I also think that NBA totals are especially vulnerable to soft live lines. NBA totals turnarounds are endemic...much like tonight.

I followed LTA's picks on the second half of the season when LTA's pick is losing badly in the first half. I wished I had kept a record of it. I started following this in January or so. I can absolutely promise you that his second half wins on his original whole game total was phenomenal when his pick was losing. I watched them win for awhile and just started playing them in the last month of the season. Again it won tonight. They won each month for sure since January. No run outs, that I detected anyway.

It would then stand to reason that if you watch an LTA total on live betting and just wait to bet when bigger numbers than the original line appears, it would be profitable.

Thanks everyone for your input. It really seems that live betting has true advantages when you have a set number in your sites. I can see how it can lure you in and have you throwing good money at bad though. So I'll have to be disciplined and not get carried away.

anyone else got word on the sides? I am taking the Heat as my stats give them as having been superior across the board in the four factors throughout the first 3 games including the last one, except for the EFG% and the FTA/FGA where Boston was really better lst game. I don't see them getting as many times to the line again and certainly not shooting as well and I think the Heat give them the knockdown blow tonight.
