They are associated with Paddy Power who opened at 200 so they did too.. They traded at 200 & then again at 197 & 194 before dropping to 178.5.
They just called again to sincerely apologise & explain that they got the wrong info or something & then once they were corrected they had to start again. I assume all the good will is because they traded at those numbers for up to 12 hours & then it was another 12 hours before canceling - obviously whilst they figured a bail out game plan.. You could make a case for why they opened at 200 as, apart from the final game, the 2 teams averaged 202.5 production & Boston seem to push the offense on the road.

Dude, how did they "trade" at 200, 197 and 194? They had mistake lines there, NOBODY bought an over on those
. As others have pointed out, some books would have red flagged you for attempting to take advantage of an obvious bad line ( I am not condemning you here). Let it go bro, they have done more than most books would to try and put it right.
P.S. I hope you hit big and take them for what they're worth though

Had I locked this in at 201, I may have gone bigger but with the hook I will play it safe. We had three poor offensive quarters in the last game with a furious scoring finish that fell 5 points short of cashing the over. However, the overall PACE was fast at 95.2 and I expect better shooting in this game after both teams shook off the rust. We might play the under as the series progresses, but we need to get that high scoring game out of the way first and I expect that to come tonight. We have brothers and garretson as refs which is about as good as you can get for playoff refs that favor the over and I am rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.Comment -

Tonight's refs -- M. McCutchen, T. Brothers, R. Garretson
Did an experiment on Bet Labs with them and Garretson seems like an under ref but neutral in the 44 games he ref'ed where OKC or SA were involved (20-24 O/U).
McCutchen was pretty even as was Brothers. Only interesting fact is Brothers. Although he was a neutral ref he went 27-14 O/U in games involving OKC or SAComment -

If he likes over 201.5, there's obviously no chance he would take the under at 203. Let's have a little common sense.
I think LTA would say that at 202.5, there's less value than the line he got it at...either no play or bet the over still though. I'd be a lot less worried about getting a "bad" total line rather than losing value on the spread. Spreads tend to be sharper IMO.
