I have to wonder if this won't go back up tomorrow at some point, but I think the better choice is to ensure this number rather than risk it going down below 179. We cashed the last under in this series last month with a final score of 155. That gives us about 20 points of wiggle room. Granted, both teams shot around 39% in that game and 33%-37% from three, so it's possible this one eeks over into the 182 range if they drastically improve those numbers. However, Boston is coming off a high scoring game against the Heat with a letdown possible. They shot 60% against the Heat and I would be surprised to see the repeat that performance b2b against two top ten defenses. Boston is 8-8 O/U in b2b games, but this game is against Atlanta who is like minded as to PACE and half court play. Boston has played a bit faster of late, but with the fatigue of playing their 4th game in 5 days I don't think they will be looking to run. Atlanta is coming off a rare 3 game break and are 1-2 O/U in this spot this season averaging around 185 points. In this game, I would not be surprised to see Atlanta come out a bit rusty after putting up three of their highest scoring games of the season against woeful competition such as the Bobcats twice. I have this game set at 177 so not a ton of value, but I think it's enough to play this for the reasons mentioned and I am rolling with the under for 1x. Good luck.Comment -

However, remember that line movement caused by an injury announcement is not a "true line, move" because everyone knows why the line is moving and it generally causes value on the team with the injured player. Consequently, that is the one rare situation where beating the market closer may not be +ev because your original projection on the game may no longer be valid due to the injury. Good luck.Comment -
My opinion LTA is this is a risky as bet..boston are not playing in the lockem down,strangle them mode anymore..they are going 4 their shots..your play is banking on them reverting back to their old style..i don't see it happening with the new go 4 their shots formula..only my opinion.Comment -
I know, but remember I got 9 when Rose was already due to be out. And even before the injury, the market was already going towards 8 while I had 9. But yes you are right. I will just keep grinding until the playoffs. I made an withdrawal just now, enough to save me from any kind of loss of investment at least until playoff time. I will just keep grinding with the bankroll I have, smaller units, and hope I can go back to my normal unit come playoff time without having to invest anymore. Can't complain as a 20 year old who got saved by parlays in January or would've lost 200€, and then in a turn of events after such good february, ended up paying a trip to Italy (that will cost roughly 300€). I know these numbers may seem ridiculous to most of you, but this huge amounts of money for me!
And I thoroughly advise anyone here that's starting to gamble or that is simply young like me and is basically investing the money they get from grandparents on christmas/birthdays whatever to always keep your money management tight and as soon as you see a cushion to withdrawal what you invested and still have some to keep playing, DO IT! I got burned before by this and will never make the same mistake of getting greedy againComment -

Why? I've payed for a ticket festival and still had some money left to spend which was basically my whole vacation last year with little effort. This year even though things did not go as I planned because I clearly did not know enough yet to make a profit in this game, I have already managed enough to pay for a trip I would hardly be doing otherwise. I've invested roughly 300€ into this and gotten more than 700€ back just by tailing people and on my knowledge of tennis (I do "trading"/live betting in tennis) and basketball alone, without actually knowing shit about betting. I understand this is not something you would advise most kids my age to do, but, even though this will probably come out a bit arrogant, confidently say I'm not most kids. And this is the like the only "job" I can have know as my school schedule sucks and I barely have time for internships let alone work.Comment -

Of couse. And I'm not a degenerate and have 0 interest of ever going into Las Vegas unless it is to actually work. (im graduating in hotel management). In this business, for a little part to win, there's the need for LOTS of others to lose. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against to you but I think you are clearly overlooking what I wrote based on the fact that I'm 20 years old.

I think you are extremely overexaggerating and you are incorrect. They have had two straight games scoring over 100 points. Before that, however, they had 3 straight games of scoring under 87 points in games that ended in the 160's. How is that a new "style" as you say? Please use facts to support your assertions. Its possible this game goes over, but not for the reasons you mentioned. Good luck on whatever you choose.Comment
