I agree with you LTA. Houston has allowed 108.5 ppg for their first 2 away games (Memphis, Orlando) and even though I do believe they will try to work on their D a little more but it wont be enough to stop the Lakers. After a disappointing shooting performance from Kobe and the Lakers on Sunday I think they come scoring hard today with homecourt advantage. Even though Kobe said he's still going to play "his" game he will definitely be looking for bynum and pau(63%shooting combined this year) for the easy baskets. As long as the Rockets keep up I think the play is over.

I was a fool for betting the over on the 1st Nugs/laker game knowing all about mike brown's changes to that team. In the 2nd game, even though it was in denver where that team likes to fly around... I bet under to get my money back on that 1st bet.

However, this might just be the game tonight where the Lakers hit an over for the 1st time this year. This is really the best "spot" of the year for it.. of the games that have been played thus far. ( still have to study the refs for this game however)

Regardless, the Lakers are an under call for 90% of the season.. as are the raptors with former dallas d-coordinator Dwane Casey running the show there. All they work on in practices is defense. Defense defense defense. Skipped the orlando game because of the history of that matchup, but the knicks game last night was an easy call after Casey mentioning the night before that defense will be put to the forefront against the knicks from the moment that ball tips (his actual words).

raptors will be a good under play this year, as well as the lakers.. so far I'm batting 3-1 on raps unders. It will take awhile for the books to get on that one

Busy at work, so no time for a writeup but this opened at 192 and was immediately bought up to 192.5. I waited hoping to get a better number but it seems the market agrees with my assessment of this game as the line continues to go up. The lakers have shot very poorly over the last three games and kobe had struggled. I believe those struggles will end tonight against the rockets weak defense. I have this game set at 196, giving us more than a basket of value. However, I think tonight is the night the shots drop for the lakers and I'm rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.

Bobcats/Cavaliers over (188.5) 1x (Locked)

No time for a long writeup today, but the bobcats play a fast pace and were embarrassed last game by miami. They should shoot much better tonight. The cavs are very efficient on offense and I expect them to also shoot well since neither team has a reason to play defense tonight. The refs are neutral with a small under lean in crawford. Nevertheless, I have this one set at 192 and I'm rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.

This is a fatigue spot for okc and a good matchup for portland with cook out for okc and sefolosha hobbling. With portland coming off rest, I like them to keep this close as they have against okc in recent years. I have portland set at +3.5 and I'm rolling that way for 1x. Good luck.

This one is starting to move toward -10 so I am buying the hook now. I wanted 9(-110), but it just never materialized for me. The hawks are in a bad fatigue and letdown spot with this being their 6th game in 8 nights, 4th in five and b2b, plus they upset the heat last night. I smell a letdown against a chicago team that has had their number wining by dd multiple times last year. Even though the hawks are playing with revenge, I dont think that wil be enough to cover the 9 tonight. I have the bulls at -11 and I'm rolling with chicago for 1x. Good luck.

The bucks are surprisingly not a public play with the action relatively equal. I should have taken them at +110 on the ml last night but fell asleep. Once the price came back down to -110, I had to pull the trigger. The bucks should have beat denver last night and I think they get it done tonight against a much weaker utah squad. Both teams have poor offenses ranked in the bottom 10 in OEFF, but the bucks are ranked 1st in DEFF to utah's 26th ranking. That is a huge advantage on defense for the bucks. In addition, despite both teams on b2b, the bucks are more rested as this is their 3rd game in 6 nights compared to utahs 4th in five and 6 in eight. Plus with the bucks losing in the final minute last night and utah winning in close fashion, I think the bucks are a little more hungry for this win. I have the bucks at -2 and I'm rolling with milwaukee for 1x. Good luck.

What do you think LTA?

I am really kicking myself for not playing that under. That is a play I make 9 times out of 10. I decided against it because my model was showing a higher score due to the great offensive numbers put up by both teams this year so far. However, whenever they play it's an under fest similar to Atlanta/Orlando. Plus, the line movement was screaming under.

I felt this was such a bad spot for Atlanta that Chicago was the better play. Nice job if you played the under.

Bobcats/Knicks over (195) 1x (Locked)

Here we have two teams ranked in the top 13 in PACE with Charlotte at 6th overall and NY at 13th. I generally do not like to back teams on the over two nights in a row, but it's not like Charlotte shot lights out against the Cavs -- they were mediocre at best and still hit 100 because of the pace. Even though this will be the Bobcats second game of a b2b, their legs should not be so fatigued that it should affect their shooting or pace. However, as we know, they are not interested in playing defense this season and that's a good combo to go with the Knicks for an over. It's clear to me that Dantoni is resorting to his offense first mentality despite his comments to the contrary after acquiring Chandler. The Knicks themselves should be getting Stoudemire back and perhaps even Shumpert. That may be the offense they have lacking. Either way, however, I do not see the Knicks shooting under 36% two games in row. It's time for the Knicks to revert to their shooting average and hit mid 40%'s or better. Last season, this matchup elicited totals of between 201, 204 and 204.5, going over in two of the three games. The one game that stayed under, still hit 194 points. This game opened up at 193 and was immediately hit with over money driving the number up to 195 which is where the total was at when one of my locals opened up for tomorrow's card. I have this game set at 199.5, giving us over two field goals of value. That's also where I expect this one to close. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the over for 1x and I may add a bit more when/if I get confirmation on Stoudemire who has been upgraded to probable. Good luck.
