"both Denver and Oklahoma City have had a little spurt of overs lately, as the Nuggets come into this one on a 3-0-1 over run, while the Thunder is on a 4-game over roll of their own, but I do believe that tonight's second game is not going to be as high-scoring as Game One was.

Look for the baskets tonight to be a little harder to come by, and also keep in mind that the Nuggets have been an under team for the most part down the stretch on the road, as Denver is on a 6-1-2 under clip their last 9 on the road.

Prior to Sunday night's over in Game One of the series, the teams had been involved in 3 straight unders, and unders in 4 of their past 5.

Defense is the order of the night tonight, as this high-total gets flirted with, but in the end stays under".

That's pretty much my take on the series as well, at least for Game 2 & 3. I expect OKC to win a game in Denver

I took the Lakers on the first game and got burned. I dont see that happening again. Kobe will distribute and i see the big spread with the small total corresponding to a typical LA blowout type response after the game 1 loss. Lakers should dominate this one from the beginning.

Defense.:........Dallas:102.3/Port 104.6.......Offense:Dallas 107.6....Port 105.6

Defense:Denver 104.8/OKC 104.0..Offense :Denver 109.5 OKC..108.6

.....no real explanation here as to why Dallas (both games won fairly easily....)..

but the conclusion I would draw would be these teams (OKC/Den)are almost even....minus home court edge of course............just my opinion..be interesting to see what late money does

On a neutral court, I would place a fair line between these teams at DAL -1. With homecourt applied, I get:

@DAL: Mavs -4.5
@POR: Blazers -3

Dallas won easily due to veteran players making big shots and making key defensive plays when the Blazers tried to go on runs. Dallas should not be getting 6 points in Portland, but at the same time, I suspect Portland will win Game 3.
